Dude I’m totally loving your work here. You’ve been away for an entire decade and you haven’t missed a beat as far as making coasters in RCT. Nothing but respect. :)
Just started to pay rct3 again after maybe 15 years. I think now i am older i am more addicted and enjoy it more than i did as a kid and teen. Im enjoying the little time i get to play and plan out my park and theme it all. Such a timeless game, no longer am i just building ultimate death coasters. So glad it popped back into my head, thought maybe the game was a cloud of nostalgia in my head until i downloaded it again. Such a joy to play again so much better than i remember.
Nice park man. I love the fact that everyone still love the RollerCoaster Tycoon games. The inversion on Grapevine at 16:10 is called a sea serpent roll.
Wow hes actually back just like that! Its great to see that there are still people out there playing rct3👍 also inversion at 16:04 is called a sidewinder👍
Rct 3 is one of those games that will always be a hood classic, i've seen a lot of people create their parks, all of them were awesome but yours is one of the best ones i've seen, the use of the terrain and scenery is honestly genius and creative, keep up !!!
Something you brought up in the vid that I want to elaborate on/clarify, pretty much all the prebuilt rollercoasters from RCT1 got ported to RCT2 (the exception being the ones that couldn't happen in RCT 2, such as the Junior Coaster). Many of them got new names, and many of those got new scenery/theming and/or were slightly modified to take advantage of mechanics new to RCT2 (mostly block brakes). The prebuilt Whitewash is the most interesting IMO - it's less of a porting/remake of its RCT1 counterpart (simply named Wood Twister 1) and more of an elaboration of it. All the major beats from the RCT1 version are still there, but there's a fair bit more to Whitewash.
One thing that really scares the crap out of me on this game is fhe water. It feels too unreal to the point where it's scary especially when you zoom into the water or ride the coaster on water lol.
Holy shit what a throwback - I used to watch your rct3 vids back in the day as well as the soilwork tracks you uploaded, had no idea you were hamsterwheel who I've been following for ages as well. This randomly popped up on my homepage, small world huh :)
This is a fun park that you have designed . I am sorry that RT3 was not upgraded. I got Planet Coaster but after adding a few rollercoasters the game always go black and freezes my computer. There is no customer support so i returned to RTC3. Planet Coaster have no water features, constant walkout by their workers and it is very hard to draw straight paths. I wish that RTC3 there were downloadable fans content like the Sims because RTC3 could use new shops and buildings. It is still fun to work with after all these years.
I really wish Atari would relinquish it's full ownership of RCT to Frontier or another company that really cares about RCT. I know Frontier has Planet Coaster, but I would like to see a new RCT, because frankly, Planet Coaster leaves out a lot of the fun factor. I see that Park Beyond is scheduled to come out pretty soon (June), but I'm really concerned about it's game mechanics.
Hmm ? You recreated these rollercoaster rides ? I just pull-up the rollercoasters rides and go down to those tools-icon and click it .If you have rct 1 and 2 installed then scan the HD for the rides of those,. Click on the 'glaases' for scanning. Ypou will find out you have over 200 rides more for Rct 3.
Thank you for the reply. Any way picked up playing RCT3 again after try some other rollercoaster games and i feel pretty comfy with RCT3. And learned here and there from vids about RCL3. Loved the vid you made to
