Ive done an almost exact same thing as this... Get Doan in the team asap. Season 2 he went to high6 ... Season 3 ...he became med elite. 60 points, 70 points. 80 points. Now listed as an 89 ovr 1st liner by 2026.

The whole situation in Arizona is both frustrating to see, but in a lot of ways felt like a mercy killing. The ownership for the team has been inconsistent at best since they arrived and the move to Glendale a number of years ago was a rough decision. All that hurt a lot of good will with potential new fans. Then getting kicked out of their arena felt like it should have been the end for a franchise who nearly moved at least twice beforehand during its existence. Playing in Mullet Arena (While nice venue, not an NHL arena) felt like delaying the inevitable, but once the vote came back a no for the arena/entertainment complex in Tempe, I knew it was over. It was Homer with "When Pigs fly." Lisa stealing the pig was them getting kicked out of the arena. Then it was a little dirty... (Moving to ASU) then slimy (Getting a "No" vote when the ownership and the NHL cheaped out on advertising). Then it is now a little airborne, going to Utah. It's jot all bad for the era in Arizona. Minor hockey has grown quite a bit in the state over the past number of years. There were genuine fans of the team, and I feel for them losing their team. And of course, the Coyotes brought one of the NHL's current big superstars, Auston Matthews to the league. If there was good ownership and a consistent arena situation, I think hockey in Arizona could have worked. Vegas is basically what the Arizona Coyotes could have been. Even if they didn't have the immediate success Vegas had, they still could have build a fanbase and build themselves up to a contender and have a decent run of making the playoffs consistently, making it deep a handful of times. We'll see if the Yotes return, but with the current ownership still leading the charge, I don't have my hopes up.

Another custom franchise mode and I'm excited to watch the next videos as well. I would definitely use Barrie as a trade bait to bring more picks or a solid rookie player or two, because I had him in my game as well and the best chemistry I got from him was -2. Oh, and yes, I'm a subscriber. 🤩

You are the man!! I’d love to see a trade for Adam Boqvist! IRL rumors are starting to swirl around him and I’d love to see him in Utah’s top 4. Also, definitely use some of those 2nds to grab an early pick (a young high-potential PWF or TWF)…maybe even another move bring in a young defender. Thanks for doing this series! Go Utah!!!

I have a team called Alaska Mammoth that I use for my custom league. I like the idea of Utah Yeti.. I saw some purple designed concept jerseys that looked cool. Mammoth is good but you can't really make that plural. Yeti or Yeti's sounds better.

How can you be sad for Arizona? If they actually had fans the team wouldn't have been relocated. League gave them over 20 years to figure it out
