Maker of NHL 24 franchise mode and be a pro videos that are as realistic as the game itself. Also, starting to delve back into other sports titles as well as strategy games like Civilization and Total War. Fluent in memes and sarcasm. Probably smarter than I seem.
For the Next Civ run through can we go with something that requires you to go to sea. Not seen you doing that in a minute and would be interesting. - Something like Ancient Greece when all the island city states were at war.
Hey Cyn, I’d like to recommend trying to get rid of Maccelli, as you have enough playmakers in the top 6 with Zegras/Cooley/Keller, and move Pushkarev onto the second line as he’s a younger replacement for Kuzmenko. On the topic of Kuzmenko, I’d let him walk in Free Agency. The idea of using Maccelli for a 3rd liner is good, but you could easily find some in free agency, so why not trade up in the draft or just trade for draft picks. As for X-factors for a 3rd liner you should be looking for quick pick or quick draw(defensive x-factors like that) on top of defensive stats, and looking at give aways/take aways helps a lot. (I know you, understand the game, just tryna help out)
EA Sim engine is an enigma. They somehow favor Minnesota. I had them make the playoffs every season and most seasons just make it to the conference finals.
I know I didn't hear you right, but I could have sworn you said no-one significant retired, if that's the case, then I guess Price and Pavelski were not significant players for their respective teams. That would be like saying Thornton wasn't an important player. I think we can all agree that isn't true. The fact in the matter is that you didn't have to win a Cup to be considered one of the league's top players.
Nah I just meant outside of those who ‘normally’ retire that early. It’s a very short list. Often first 2 years are just people retiring who are no longer playing but have to be in game due to LTIR
@CynFtWProductions I find it a real shame that Marleau and Thornton never got a Cup. They are Sharks royalty and they are legends in San Jose. I don't care what anyone says. I remember watching Marleau when he was a rookie. He was fire 🔥 2016 was their best chance, and the Penguins robbed them of it.
If its the last 15 games and you are cutting to close for comfort to push into the playoffs you should fire the ahl goalie coach and do a coach swap if the team under performs LOL
Hey Cyn big fan of the energy you put into these series! I have been scouting in a similar way to you over the past few years, giving me a great ability to exploit the draft! after watching the new 2BC GM mode series I saw his new scouting program and it look extremely in depth and ive never seen so many guaranteed potenitals ! Would you be interested in trying this new method for a couple seasons ?
@@CynFtWProductions manual scout only. All players. Scout Play Style until 10/1. Then S & W until 11/9. Then S.A. until mid Jan. Then Potential until early/mid May. Then clean up anything missed until draft day. The only thing you skip is Character Assessment. (because you only scout Potential is the reason you get such terrible results) I know it seems like a lot of work and time consuming but I can confirm for you that I spend way, way less time scouting and drafting even though I pretty much reveal 95-98% of all players in the draft. When I go into a draft it's 2 minutes tops if I have the picks I need for the guys I want. If I need to move picks around a lot the draft might take 5 minutes. I will say I need to manage the goalie situation for the entire league since I will know all the Elite guys and so I feel the need to not take too much advantage of that. Let some go when you don't need them or draft and trade them to teams that need them since EA can't seem to manage goalies around the league like At All.
Laughed out loud when Debrincat decided to go to nyi because he thinks Utah is not a contender. I wanna see how his new team is playing, just for fun. 😂😂
@@michaelsaville9985 yes. And teams will make moves that put them over cap and then shed cap. Look at Vegas constantly. I also made money in money out within 1m for every trade idea here. It’s not like a team would have to shed a huge amount if any of these deals happened
Bottom line is I don’t see anything that fills Toronto’s needs or is realistic. Unless they were serious contenders to sign either Montour or Pesce, these package deals for so-so players are practically giveaways. Utah/Arizona would be gutted if they gave up all that, Smashville would have no goaltending and Toronto would receive a string-up goalie in Saros for a couple years until he leaves for a bigger pay cheque. Also, unless Theodore is a switch-shooter, the left defense in Toronto is over-crowded. Riels, McCabe, Benoit.
@@CynFtWProductions He's built more for the Eastern style of play then the west. I'd be happy with Marner coming but yeah that wouldn't free up much either way.
1. If I'm the Leafs, I want Fabbro or Carrier over Schenn in a Preds deal, and would be open to moving out someone else with Marner to also get a winger back (maybe a Robertson/Evangalista swap?). 2. Hearing rumblings about Vegas as always with it being Theodore and Marcheesy coming back. That'd be huge. 3. I feel the sneaky team to look out for is LA. Matt Roy is the perfect kind of RD the Leafs would want if you can do a S&T, they have talent galore and Marner gives them that little bit of a push to truly contend... and if you really wanted to, maybe you take Talbot in to be your 1B with Woll if you're Toronto?
