If it helps keel issues are when you consider the numbers of yachts out there..its just I see a lot due to my job.. that said I own a sparkman and Stephens long keel ketch 😄
Not all surveyors are created equal. We were going to buy a boat once down your neck of the woods, but the broker wouldn’t allow us to contract with you. What a massive red light. We saw a few more red lights and didn’t buy the boat.
As best as you can obtain from the manufacturer some are not very forth coming. Then look at the torque settings for the size of nut depending on material etc.
