A GREAT 1963 alternative | Proxima PX1716 review 

Hi, thanks so much for this amazing review, beautifully filmed and nice description of details! I have a slight problem with it tho - found your channel through AliExpress because I ordered the watch and then it always only lasted for less than 20 hours before the battery ran out. Online I looked researched how to properly turn it to charge it and not break it and almost every time the sources stated to turn it until you feel stronger resistance and then stop to not overturn it. When I did this the watch only lasted about 30 minutes. Then I once „overturned“ it to a point where I was not sure if I was breaking it and then it lasted around 20 hours but still not 30 or the 42 as described. Now, in this video, you state that you can’t overturn it because it stops you from going further, so can it be that I just didn’t force it enough? And how many turns does it take to completely charge it, for comparison? The answer would help me out a lot, as I sent the watch back to proxima because I was frustrated and they state that everything is fine… thanks for your help! :)

This may very well be the version that has me pulling the trigger on a 1963 style watch. I I I prefer the non unicorn version though. Which is funny because I think unicorns are cool. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I also like how good of a sport Studio Underdog is. Thanks for the great review!

Nice review. What attracks me to get this watch aside from the movt is the case size and finish.. first time to owned this kind of movt (st1902) and its a beauty from the back. 😂 but what annoys me is that the running chronograph hand is ticking very irregular. I believe the running chronograph hand suppose to ticks 4x/sec but there are portion in the track that it ticks 3x/sec and sometimes 4x/sec which makes the swift kinda stuther and not smooth 😢 too bad..

Unlike most people this is one movment I won't touch. It was obsolete when China bought the machines off the Swiss. It won't hack and it's 2- 1/2 htz? It's not reliable long term.
