That hidden tang looked a little short for my taste, but seemed to work... I'm dissappinted in how I couldn't properly see the final result though, since the preview posters for some of your other video's obscured the finalé 😭😭😭

Почему после обработки всего клинка Вы режущую кромку не обрабатываете на специальном точильном станке, где регулируется градус заточки? Так же лучше будет. Ну а если не придираться, то классный нож вышел, за Вашей работой всегда приятно наблюдать😁🔥

Not sure of the exact name. There are a few different things used kinda depends on the blacksmiths preference and what they are trying to do. Looks like powdered borax in this case. Used as a protectant to ‘seal’ the metal from air. Helps in the keeping the metal workable along with what I feel it helps pull impurities out. Used to use it by the can full in the aluminum furnaces I ran back in the day in a foundry.
