No offense.. but this is how it was used to be before we spoiled everything in the name of modernization.. even in remote villages..

Nothing but going back to roots ... Let's be old fashioned to protect the environment

Instead of destination weddings this green wedding should be encouraged.... 👏👏are there any wedding planners for green weddings??

Everything is worth appreciation.....but what stricked me the most....two gorgeous middle aged ladies with great articulation giving a new definition to traditional weddings......kind of a vlog but the vlogger aint a youngster......more than the vedio, these ladies caught my attention. Beauty with brain indeed.

Till now, I wanted an extravagant wedding. But I have changed my mind! Now I want to have an eco-friendly and vegan marriage celebration.🌱 Now I need to find a man to marry lol😂

Such videos must go viral. .. Not thick fat weddings... They are the real celebrities

This video has touched me alot. Let alone marrying in an extravagant style, i feel so bad when i attend any wedding which is performed with no attention to anything but the pomp and loudness. You are an amazing team. Everyone. Just simply amazing. So so so inspirational and motivating. 1)use banana leaves for food wherever possible like poojas,picnics etc.This really helps.(2)clay cups/bowlsfor tea,water,soups etc.(3)The most commonly told but the least adopted:Plant a tree(Suggest people to put name boards of their loved ones I.e.,names of Your children,parents even pets for the tree planted you will definitely care for them more.

In the 90's all weddings were conducted on shoe string budgets in our village. So every house had at least 100 plates and glass sets that people used to lend it to their neighbors and relatives. Easy way to reduce unnecessary garbage during small get togethers .

When you put so much thought to your dress... put a lil thought to your wedding.

Banana leaves are better and help in saving water which is a precious resource

Simple registraty marriage and a dinner with close family and friends..rest of d money needs to be used for the unprivileged children (kinda books colors bags pen pencil etc.).. That's all for my marriage... unfortunately numerous girls rejected me for d same reasons... first They thought am joking... later on realized and said sorry carry on...🙃😁

This is such a wonderful concept of wedding. I can feel the nature all across the wedding. Asif so close to almighty lord with his natural. Bo show off,fancy Chinese based fake weddings. I wish this concept would have been brought up during our wedding time.

In certain locations where there are no access to plastic and eating in banana leaf is a tradition in places like in Mangalore. We should encourage those as it just needs a manager to manage all these work.

I want to do eco friendly wedding. I loved the concept.. I always wanted to having something different in my wedding plan than others. Rather than having big lavish wedding this one is 100 times better.

My family is from East UP. This's how things were 12-15 years back in my village. Best part about any event was atleast for me eating on banana leaf and family members serving you food.

I loved the plates, bowls made of dried leaves that were available during my childhood. I always searched for them in market but couldn't find whenever I wanted but now I see that they have made a comeback. Very happy that the govt banned one use plastic. really appreciate that they put so much thought into this green wedding.

This is how we celebrated our wedding also, in our towns we wouldn’t use plastic cups, plates etc instead we use banana leaves, steel plates & cups .. decorations mainly done in local flowers and coconut leaves are used for art works, barricading etc.. we also conduct wedding in the day light..thus less usage of electricity!! Ppl should encourage more of this for better future..

This is how weddings take place in most of coastal Karnataka specially Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod districts (Kerala). We just didn't brand it eco-friendly! :) It maybe too bland or lacking grandeur for some people but it is so satisfying to know you're not throwing away quintals of garbage afterwards.
