Follow Captain Lucas Bissett on his day off, as he fishes the beautiful Louisiana coastal marsh lands south of New Orleans. An Orvis fly fishing promotional film. Low Tide Charters: www.louisianalo...
Agreed - great stuff- video work was awesome but the sound was exceptional. Tasteful use of music but dialog and sounds of nature were spot on. Next time I'm in NOLA I'm booking - I'd fish with you guys any time.
awesome video! One of these days I will book a trip with Capt Lucas. I grew up fishing the South Louisiana marsh for both salt and freshwater species but I have never fly fished. I have a feeling once I do it that it will be a new addiction.
Stoked to hit NOLA this summer; first week of May. Headed down to Buras and then out to the Chandeleurs. Looking to poke my first Gulf-fish on some 8 and 10 weights.
I would love to try fly fishing reds. Unfortunately with the conflicts surrounding access to what in 49 other states would be public, navigable, tidal waters, in the southern parts of Louisiana, it is becoming big increasingly hard to find accessible marsh to fish. Louisiana is quickly becoming the Rich Man’s Paradise. Gates, barricades, and cables are becoming the norm. 😕😕
