Base Stats: Specific to each species of Temtem. Different species of Temtem have differently allocated base stats as well as different values for the total amount of base stats making some Temtem more effective at certain roles than others.
For example, a Temtem with a very high base stat for HP will make for an effective tank. There are other things to take into consideration, such as elemental types, defense base stat, and special defense base stat. Tateru is a reliable tank early in the game due to it being a neutral type and only have a weakness to psychic Temtem as well as having decent base stats for defense and HP.
SV - Single Value: Single value is randomly determined upon catching the Temtem. They range from 1 to 50. Certain cases such as your starter Temtem and Temtems received from NPCs have set SVs. The best way to get a perfect Temtem (all 50s for all seven stats) is to catch Temtem until you got a couple with 50s and use selective breeding with DNA strands to transfer those SV values to the offspring. It is possible to increase SV with items, such as the Telomere Hack for that specific trait.
TV - Training Values: You have a total allotment of 1000 TV points available to each Temtem. The max TV possible for one specific stat is 500. You gain TV by defeating Temtem or by using special fruit from the Mokupuni Fruit Co-op. Each Temtem defeated gives a set amount of TV increase for a specific stat. Refer to the Wiki link above to check the amount gained. You can also use the fruit to decrease TVs from a specific stat and reallocate them elsewhere. TVs become less effective at raising stats as your Temtem levels up. As of this writing, with the current level cap of 48, 10 TV is roughly equivalent to 1 base stat so a TV of 500 would be an equivalent of an increase of the base stat by 50.
