I don't know where to start - I stumbled onto this channel as a result of a reddit post in r/jazz - and I couldn't be more impressed. I've been a Miles fan for thirty years, read his autobiography while traveling in Europe (four years after it was published) and I've spent years following threads of the jazz weave - each lending greater understanding and appreciation for the genre and the insane talent of these individuals. You have done SUCH a good job of this. Your presentation is engaging, considered, entertaining, tasteful, and filled with nuggets of pure gold - historical highlights are carefully selected - the temporal atmosphere anchoring these performances - everything is considered. I find it fitting that this is the first video of yours that I am watching being that Miles Davis is my favorite musician of all time. I've always loved Kind of Blue, but I didn't know a lot about Miles Davis and where to even begin discovering more about his life and music (although I've always been intrigued).
