I came to Mallorca on 9th October, 2004, for 2 weeks. I had a few beach days then witnessed a huge storm on 16th. The next day I was driven through the Tramuntana an fell in love with the island. I made the permanent move here a month later! So I guess October is my favourite month! 😎

I arrived in Calas de Mallorca yesterday for two weeks. I went out last night and it was really quiet, I don't know if it'll be busier at the weekend? It's quite a small resort anyway...

Hi, we are visiting mallorca first time grouo of friends, in October for 5 days.we wont be renting car.Suggestions were to station for visiting beaches via bus?considering palmanova or alcudia? is visting soller on the last day a good idea as we have flight late in evening on the 5th day.
Not sure where you are staying, but all those suggestions are fantastic. You can easily reach them from Palma on the TIB bus. I have a full guide to getting around on my website.

Hi is palma nova open as usual? Will all restaurants be open as other times we have gone to say Spain many of the restaurants were closed. Hopefully weather will be ok as I am going to be there Oct 6-11 in palma nova.
