Youre blessed with the right hand size... smaller and thinner fingers are nightmare to basketball because it does not strengthen even if you practice shooting for hours!
hi, when i film myself, i found that i have trouble jumping straight up. i tend to jump slightly forward (not land forward, but jump forward) and seems most of the energy come from my right foot. i been trying to correct it but my body just cant do it...
What can I do to have more range after adjusting from a 2 handed jump shot to a form where my guide hand dosent affect the ball trajectory? I tried not using my guide hand and it’s only airballs after airballs.
Bro this whole time ive not had my shooting hand thumb on the ball, so alot of the time the ball slides to the side in my shot. Might’ve just fixed the JS🔥
Hey Ryan my question should i push ball with my fingers or just wrist? Or combine two of them. And also when i shoot ball doesnt spinn to much hkw can i give spin?
im 14 with not the best form and im finding it hard to get enough power with one hand to shoot and one hand to guide and when i shoot like the tutorial my shots go at the hoop not into it
He coach is it wrong release the ball with the middle and ring finger? I do this and I’ve been hitting shots consistently. Should I change it? Thank you.
I do that too, it’s because I always learned the least amount of variables the better so if u shoot with a symmetrical shot with your index being last on ball, there will be less chance of it moving left or right than what Ryan said.
You should make a vid on court positioning, best spots to score from for different players, how to get the those spots quickly, and scoring combos/counters to thrive in different spots
Coach could you make a video focusing on the base. Specifically how to find out how wide it should be and how much tilt we need. Also, it would be cool if you made a video discussing how you found your form when you were starting out.
it depends from player to player and you as a person and how your built. You shouldn't look to copy form and really try to get in the gym and see what works best
I watched your one video (forgot the title) that you were shooting over your defender without jumping even he was defending so close.I had remembered that scene in the middle of tough situation and it works.Everyone one was cheering.
U RUINED MY BASKETBALL LIFE I USED TO BE SUCH A GOOD SHOOTER SHOOTING WITH 2 HANDS BUT DECIDED TO TRY UR WAY AND NOW I CANT MAKE A SHOT OUT OUTSIDE OF 10 FEET BECAUSE HOW I AM SUPPOSED TO GET ANY POWER ONLY USING ONE HAND
@@Crawf08 the last fingers to touch the ball and the fingers you aim with are the index and middle finger, but the other fingers should also be on the ball
Ryan If you see this I was wonder how do you want to set your legs up for a jump shot, I’ve never been able to figure it out because of all the different ways all the NBA players do it,Like sometimes I’ve seen players like James Harden,Ray Allen, Dwayne Wade, and etc have there feet planted to the left or right of them. But I’ve seen players like Klay Thompson,Steph Curry,J.J Redick, and Kyle Korver have their feet planted to the basket. I’ve tried shooting both ways but I don’t know which way is more efficient and would help me in the long run.But your channel has really helped out my game a whole bunch so if you can help me with this that would be great! 👍
so I have a hoop in front of my house but the backboard and rim is tilted quite a bit. Can I still use it to work on my shot or would it mess up my shooting when I get on an actual court?
