Thank you so much!! 100% agree that it takes some getting used to and booking a few sessions is the way to go! I couldn't believe how much easier it felt just two sessions in. Guess I'll have to come back for a third 🤙

Hi Richard, I know this is heavily dependent upon fitness level, but what's the max sessions in one day you'd suggest? Three? Could you do four if they were spaced out?

@@artichokeantigua Great question. It's all going to depend on your leg stamina. I went this past June and stayed on property for three nights. Surfed 9 expert sessions. One the night of check in, 3 the next day, four the day after that and one the following morning before check out. I'm in my mid forties and trained heavily for the trip. Lots of core training and leg work. I was fine until the last session on the day with 4 sessions. My legs felt like jelly walking out into the pool. I was still able to surf (surprisingly) and actually had a fun session. The next morning was fine and no issues at all. That being said, I know my limit is three in a day before extreme fatigue comes in. Surfing multiple days also didn't help with the fatigue. 3 was good, 4 was pushing it for me but, again, depends on your personal fitness level. Two would be the minimum I would recommend just because of the learning curve. Takes a few sets to get dialed in but once you get it, you've got it. By the end of your second session you'll only be taking two strokes before dropping in. All about being in exactly the right position. Hope that helps.

I'm glad it was helpful! I checked my records and I paid something like $120/session. I think they give you the price if you go to book and choose a specific date; it changes depending on shoulder season vs summer (spring is cheaper but bring a wetsuit!). Also, if you have a big enough group, it may make sense to book a private session. They didn't have that little air section in the public session, they must use a different setting on the wave machine.

This is the public "expert" surf session. One thing I noticed is that it doesn't have the air section at the end - my guess is they only do that in the private sessions
