@@barbarascuteri4642 Well, let's be honest, mostly based on Morten's looks. Not that I am saying he is better looking, it just seems so many focus on Morten's looks. I agree it is a great interview. These are extremely rare indeed.
I recently watched a video of him at a Norwegian Christmas concert they had on tv. It was when he was around 28. He sang with a boy's choir and I swear he looked like he could have been one of the teen age boys.
im norwegian, and thats totally normal for me to see men that are tall, blond, blue eyed. i guess u are from a place were few are tall, blond, blue eyed live. where are u from may i ask?
A very intelligent interview. One can see they had figured out the concept of moving forward with a-ha. Great questions and they are so young and thoughtful, funny and together. I am rediscovering them and they still sound wonderful! ❤❤❤
@@user-os9li2gk5eI prefer Morten, he has so delicate, feminine, elegant, exceptionally sweet and beautiful facial features. He was very beautiful. I love such beauty
I love watching all these early interviews. They are such interesting, intelligent guys, so well spoken. It's always nice to hear what they think about things, I wish there were more like this one with real questions.
I love that they are so articulate and genuine in their interviews. Good questions in this one... Morten is a dream, I like to hear him say his name in Norwegian. 😍❤
Me too. Finally one without shallow questions like Morten, how come you're so fit bla bla,I like this japaneese guy, good interview, just wish they'd add another five min.or so to it tho':)
This is a great interview. Where we actually get to hear about the process of writing and recording, as apposed to just meaningless chat about cheek bones and teeny fans. I wish there were more like this from that era.
Couldn't agree more.Moved from Oslo to London in 84' and after a while I was surprised to see a Norwegian band(and sweaters;)all over.Only 7-8 back then but still captivated by their music.Morten was too close to my father's age and I wasn't into boys yet.I'm glad I learned to like them before I reached my teens, just recently discovered A-ha for the third time or so lol.I really like this interview, just a bit too short...But even to me,now as a grown woman(Supposably:) I find it even better cause it's about how they formed the band, not their looks.
I am so loving many of the comments on this video. Many talking about how great the interview questions were. I agree. It is nice that it’s not centered on Morten and his looks. I love all the compliments going towards Pål and Magne. Seriously, there are so many videos where the main topic in the comments is Morten Morten Morten. Okay, not that he isn’t great, but HELLO, all three of them are well, phenomenally talented and yes, good looking. Morten is not the god of the group. So, thank all of you who care about all of them and actually care about learning about them instead of being here to ogle over Morten. ✌🏽❤️😊
@@user-os9li2gk5e Haha...I totally get that! Those beautiful blue eyes that twinkle and that sweet smile? Whew...how could one not🥰 To be fair, I can also drool over Pål and his eyes when he is concentrating on something or talking about something that gets him excited. Also when Pål is really into playing his guitar. He is so hot then. Morten is hot to me when he sings in the deeper voice and it is a little scratchy. Whew...I call them "My three hot men". ❤🔥😁
Remember moving from Oslo to London back in 84.Was only 7-8,still couldn't help but notice A-ha & bought their first album( 3rd one after Abba & Stevie W.)Several girls had the hots for Morten when I reached my teens,I thought he was a bit too feminine(& just a few yrs older than my dad;)Sometimes felt I was the only girl who'd fancy Magne, his energy,he seemed fun, talented and had this cool guy next door kind of look-(& Paul,he wrote most of their biggest hits and looked like a cute babybird:)Finally learned to appreciate Morten too tho',they are all very different yet unique, Morten always had a great voice but I'm afraid they wouldn't become so successful if it wasn't for Mortens looks, always nice to know some do/did fancy Mags or Paul, they worked hard to accomplish their goals & desverve just as much respect and attention as Morten.Magne is also a decent artist BTW.
@@rebeccajelenawang4306 Amen! They sure do deserve as much attention and appreciation as Morten. The music industry really brainwashed the media and fans on that. IMHO, all three of them are equally as handsome and more importantly phenomenally talented in their own right. So many don’t see they have been brainwashed into thinking Morten is the “God” of the group. 🤷🏻♀️
「Time ain't gonna make it worse It's gonna make you start felling better just like wine」/Birth right 一部抜粋🇳🇴
To be fair, I think Morten probably thought he was finished. And then he said a nice thing about them after that too, so he probably got over it fast, LOL
Lived in Oslo, Norw. for some yrs as a child, later met my man & moved back.Morten was actually made fun of by a comedian/singer named Kristian Valen. He was/is a big fan of A-ha,still made this joke along with Mags where he interrupts him constantly, and talks about the meaning of life and such.Norw.media named Morten to be "the fogprince"He says he feels honored;)He's such a deep thinker, and tend to think & speak at the same time.He seem to hate shallow questions,so he keeps talking and comes away with it.He just can't help himself:)I was too young to be a fan back then, but I love them as a band now.Still impressed how they managed to keep up with each other for so long as a group, especially since they're totally different individuals. Not a huge fan,but I've learned to appreciate all three of them as persons.Good interview💯
@@justanotherdeadpoet8929 Actually watched it back & I guess I have to give you the benefits of the doubt...Well okay then I surrender. You are correct.Still a pretty good interview though.
Ah…it’s like brotherly love, isn’t it? 😂 I watched an interview where Morten was telling the interviewer he is just a normal guy. Magne chimes in with an eye roll “I know a lot of guys more normal than you” 😂
@@MargarutaPotemcina-th2vp I don't think they were fighting at this time here though, I could see some other times, later though. Heck, Magne has made jokes like this with Morten in later times and you could tell it was with some playfulness.
@@mathonamoore123 Ouch, wow....This is a matter of opinion for sure. Personally, I think they look like they could be related somehow for to me, they have similar facial features. The younger Morten from the Early 80's even more so for the way he wore his hair. So to me, I think they are both pretty equal in looks there. Morten is more like a thin GQ model type and Patrick is more muscular for sure. I definitely wouldn't say Morten was better looking though. Patrick Swayze was a good looking man. You put up a video of Morten next to Patrick Swayze in any scene from Dirty Dancing, hmmmm...I would think it's a tie. Like Brad Pitt,George Clooney, Cary Grant, and of course Magne and Pål. (Always blows my mind how Morten somehow has become some kind of god and Magne and Pål get put in the background a lot. All three are equally handsome and more importantly phenomenally talented in their own right. This is however for a different rant.😋) Maybe none of the above are my type for I am more into Teddy Bear guys, but hey, I know they are all attractive still. 🙃😉
reminds us of a former executive type of guy or not at all of a gay beast of burden or not of a guy without faith or not at all of a you fill in the blanks ;-) or not
