This segment of the fight is great and all, and you're invincible and she's throwing everything she has and it's madness... You're not invincible with the One Hit badge. You are VERY MUCH not invincible with the One Hit badge.
I love that this is a remix of the file select theme. That's like one of my favorite things in games when composers incorporate the main theme into the final boss.

This is playing, as there are 3 shockwaves going across the floor, raining hourglasses, an intricate grid of explosions lining the ground, and a massive f***ing laser being shot at you. Also, this isn't the kinda thing where the boss goes crazy and then you just poke them: The boss STILL has health to burn through at this point.
And, since I play on the Pc and phase 3 crashes, when the game crashes itself, it looked like I was sitting on Snatcher’s head because I have the Kirby hat mod

I like how in this section as Mustache Girl panics due to her powers disappearing she just uses what she has left to try and stop you. She doesn't get a power boost or anything, she panics and scrambles to use the rest she does have in her to stop you. And this song encapsulates both that and the emotion of the final phase, That's what makes this game's soundtrack so GOOD! It perfectly fits with the tone and emotion of the act or scene.

This track is amazing and encapsulates the feel of the game so well. That, no matter the odds, no matter the foe, as long as you're having fun and are receiving help from your friends, you can literally never be defeated.
It's not like it's impossible to beat Mustache Girl in phase 3 without getting hit. I've seen people do it pretty easily with the Time Stop hat. You do it with the Kid's Hat the entire time, though, then I'll be impressed.
Not only is the fact you can't die here and is that it gets exponentially harder and all your friends are here, but even the music seems to be cheering you on.
Mustache Girl: My powers are disappearing! Also Mustache Girl: *Becomes ten times stronger* Also I know this part was easier because everyone gave you health but still she got overpowered if it wasn't for the fact that you had infinite health.
When I defeated Mustache Girl, I felt so proud of myself. This song just made me feel so determined, no matter how many times I died. But, today, was the day I felt more proud, more proud of myself when I defeated Mustache Girl. Today was the day my friend, who bought A Hat In Time and liked it alot, played it, and had encouragement and help throughout tough parts in the game from me, finally defeated Mustache Girl. I've never felt so proud, of anyone. Not gonna lie, I teared up. I will always remember this day whenever I hear this song.
Segments 2 and 3 are my favorite parts of the entire soundtrack (yes, even beating Battle of Award 42 and Your Contract Has Expired). Segment 2 is gorgeous but this... this is perfection. A remix of the file select theme ramped up to the max, you're quite literally unbeatable, it's the final stretch, everything's come together for this very moment, everyone's on your side, and it's all just so exciting and overwhelming you could cry! I'm just tensing up and smiling just thinking about it!
After all her friends sacrificing themselves for her, and Hat Kid turning into essentially an unkillable god, it's very likely that this is Hat Kid's boss music.

I almost lost this game to time. I've played hundreds, nay THOSANDS of games in my short 11 year history of playing games (been playing since 3). It's so hard to remember all or even half of them. Remembered this one and it hit me like a 2 ton truck

You know, despite the name, I honestly think this is more a theme for Hat Kid than it is for Moustache Girl. Mainly because of the use of the game's main leitmotif, though also because of how this is the point in the fight where the latter's powers are "disappearing".
I remember getting so hyped at this part because of the music that I didn't even consider using the time slowing hat until after the fight was over. Glad I didn't, too, 'cause it ended up being some top-shelf bullet hell goodness.
