@@Jake28 With members of the Mafia of Cooks, two bird directors, a giant clumsy soul snatcher, a bunch of little stubby birds, pirate cats, a cat that likes to cook, giant goats wearing a robe and a hood, Scottish nomads who live up in the mountains with said goats, and shady crows watching you fight her.
1:34 What I like that this part is that it represents Mustache Girl incredibly well. The melody sounds almost like a heroic theme, but it’s shrouded in the more sinister tone of the song, and the obscuring sounds, until it sounds more like a villainous theme. Exactly like Mustache Girl. A person with good intentions, but they went too far, and these good intentions became shrouded from the atrocities they committed to get their way.
Shes a vigilante; what did you expect, but one thing i just DONT get is why she took EVERYONE not just the mafia people; she had never met half of the people there probably
@@ely6567 By the time the castle is built and it's pretty much the only landmass left on the planet, she's already gone FAR off the deep end. At best, the only truly "bad guys" from the line outside the mafia would probably be whoever you fought in chapter 2, some of the caw agents, and the snatcher.
honestly I can see where Mustache Girl is coming from, but she went WAY too far, and as a result became the bad guys she was trying so hard to stop, becoming a merciless tyrant.
The most formidable boss I've faced is Sans(Don't hate) Took way more time that Mustache girl or Touhou bosses for me, or even Cuphead bosses Also, the battle had some emotion at the end, except I was too happy celebrating to feel it (PS: I'm a fan of all the mentioned games and I love all games equally)
Why would I hate? Undertale is one of my favourite games, ignoring the 12 year old fanbase. And, yeah, Sans is more formidable, but there was something about the moustache girl fight that was just so _satisfying._
tbh, THis is my favorite boss theme by gameplay. If it was by story, then I'd have to go with Rando and Buzzo from LISA the painful/joyful. #RandoDidNothingWrong
This is where the final battle truly begins. Everyone is counting on you to destroy this alternate reality and save the world! Even though the odds are turned against you, your old foes are now MORE than willing to help you. The Mafia, Conductor, even Snatcher! This is it, kid! Make this mustached girl get lost, once and for all!
What I really like about the main cast is that all of them are bad in some way. Hat Kid: doesn’t seem to really care about the people she’s meeting and at the end of the game though she cares now still (literally) brushes them aside Mustache Girl: while she has good intentions she smashes time pieces haphazardly and creates time rifts. Because a ruthless dictator. And causes time to nearly collapse in the final battle. Mafia: took over an island and forced its inhabitants including Mustache Girl out of their homes The Conductor: seems to care little for hat kids safety and if he wins the award he is so petty that he wants to mess with time to undo one loss DJ Grooves: while he is nicer up front than the conductor if DJ Grooves wins it is revealed he kept a time pice hidden with the intent to undo 51 losses Snatcher: is literally a soul stealing former prince turned ghost. Empress: Is a ruthless leader of a jewelry theft ring and will without hesitation kill anyone who stands in her way. The Captain: honestly couldn’t think of anything for him aside from that he isn’t really kind to the crew.
i know it can be seen as petty that the conductor wants to undo only 1 loss, but i think it seems fairly reasonable. he is only changing 1 thing in the past, which is far less likely to have massive consequences than dj grooves wanting to change every single one of his losses.
3:39 if you losten very closely, you can hear the difference between this verse and the other 3 that are almost exactly identical. How very strange that I only happens here, and not anywhere else...
When listening to this song, it pretty much goes as Beginning-Main Melody-Unique Melody-Main Melody-Ending Melody and then loops back to the main melody again I used to think it was a simple loop, but the second time through it changes super suttle Main Melody-Unique Melody-Main Melody but way more intense-Ending Melody
Mustache Girl isn't a villain, she's an Anti-Villain. An anti-villain is someone who have good intentions and want to work for the good, but their actions are vilainous. Mu wanted to take her home back and garantee nobody would suffer like she had suffered, but for that she became an megalomaniacal ditactor. But really, she had a fricking good reason to hate the mafia: they destroyed her home, get rid of her family and made her have to sleep on a cold cave alone just so they could have vacations. Honestly, there's no way to defend Mafia here. They helped Hat Kid only so they would not have to face the consequences of their actions. Mu needs more love, really.
@@besoufhvhesofivhbdsfioh Similar, but every Mafia was bad and didn't want her to live there. Asgore didn't realize that there was such thing as a good Human
I really enjoy the setting of this fight.on a small platform, hurtling through space and time at the speed of sound,as all of your friends and foes you have met throughout your journey watch, all of them cheering you on
I’d bet good money this was inspired by Pendulum’s Granite… Both the part that kicks in at 0:18 and the Mario World castle inspired type thing around 0:30 remind me a LOT of Granite.
1:58 this part for me means mustache girl is serious now you are trying to stop her to do justice if she needs to destroy you to erase the bad guys she will do it still she a anti-hero or anti-villain i don't know
+Melissa Rogers, Yeppers Indeed, Also, You're my Coolest RU-vid-Friend Forever Now, Because I Love A Hat In Time The Popular Xbox One Video Game Too, Melissa! Believe Me, Because This New Xbox One Video Game Called A Hat In Time is the Bomb, and We Love It a Lot!!! :-D
this boss was so fun but also made unironicly say "i need to stop playing on your time" then use the time slow hat to kick her ass i had a phase 2 myself
@@shovelknight9417 celeste classic is actually the game’s original incarnation for the PICO-8, it was included in the later Celeste as a fun extra thing
Me gusta como en la primera fase el ost muestra como mustache girl domina la situación, en este ost las partes con el piano representan a Hat kid intentando detenerla y la ultima fase es cuando Hat kid toma la ventaja por eso el ost es similar al del titulo del juego
not like the fight needed it but the song sounds like its made to be accompanied with a time limit, same sorta warioland vibe as the collapsing rift song
