A HEATED Matchup in Philly! (Ravens vs. Eagles 2012, Week 2) 

Man this game wasn't even a decade ago and I feel nostalgic seeing some of the names out there.

And to think the Eagles went 4-12 while the Ravens won the super bowl

Early 2010’s Michael Vick (2010-2012) became a really good passer! We all know how fast and ridiculously athletic he was, but he became just as good as throwing the ball as well as running it too. Too bad it was short lived because the injuries and his age finally caught up to him…once he went to the Jets, that was the beginning of the end for Vick…

This was the 4th season in a row that the team who the eagles played in their home opener ended up winning the superbowl that year. 2009 - Saints/2010 - Packers/2011 - Giants/2012- Ravens. Even more remarkable because the ravens only play in philly once every 8 years.

Even tho Vick is a scrabbling QB his pocket presence is insanely good!

I remember from 2011-2012 Philly went crazy in FA and everyone considered them a “super team “ Even though they went 8-8 and 4-12

Despite what he did off the field Vick was one of my favorite QBs !

Against a top defense in the closing minutes of the game with weapons & folks got the nerves to talk about what Vick did before Ryan… Give Vick the offenses Ryan has had, I count AT LEAST 2 championships!!!

Ray Rice was one of the best RBs in the league for a short time and Shady in his prime is one of the most underrated RBs of all time

The Eagles should start wearing their green pants more often! In my opinion, the white jerseys look better with green pants than with the white ones.

I hated having Nate Allen and Kurt Coleman on the team. They sucked so bad. Just like Nathan Gerry.

The season Flacco had the juice...one of the best post season runs ever! 🔥🔥🔥

I remember this game, actually was just thinking about this one the other day. Thought the Eagles were gonna be something this season, and I remember really missing Suggs this game... But at least the Ravens won the Bowl ✊🏾

Fun Fact: Everytime the Eagles would open up at home against a team. That visiting team would winning the Super Bowl which would be a pattern for 4 years. 2008: Steelers 2009 Saints 2010 Packers 2011 Giants 2012 Ravens

The Eagles and Michael Vick never were the same after Vick got concussed against the Falcons. They brought him back way too fast, they kept saying on the radio during the Giants game, Vick seems out of it, somethings wrong with him. The Eagles had to take him out of the game. The Eagles never recovered. They were cruising against the Falcon on the way to score and get a 2 possessions lead, season changing play.
