Great way of stepping in and helping without causing further anger. Like with the experiment with a girl being harassed. Some girls would pretend to be her friend, and pull her away, saying that they were going to the library. Shows you can be helpful in a heated moment, without publicly shaming people and losing your class.

This kinda hit home. My dad's a deliveryman and he was actually the one to ask me if I was okay with it. I asked him why and he says I might get teased because of it. I told him it's okay as long as he's doing a decent job and not something illegal. HE was conscious and actually said sorry which had me realising this kind of problem actually exists. I owe everything to him and more kids should realise how hard their parents work in order to earn a living and provide them with decent lives. Other people's comments don't matter and they don't really have any bearing on my life so I don't care. Those who judge people for not having high-end jobs don't have anything to do better with their lives anyway. I don't get people who think their mean opinions deserve to be heard. It just makes them look bad. IDK if that's a kink for some people err- but yeah.

@@chiko-chan4557 He says he is haha he teases me saying the tables have turned now that I'm working and supporting him. Though he gets bashful sometimes but I tell him it's time I give back the things he did for our family. He's not pressuring me or anything and even told me it's okay if I pursue my life on my own. A good father would result to good children. But I do admit that in some cases that does not happen. But I'm hopeful Treeman's videos would make the youth realise these things.

I used to be ashamed of my grandmom who visited my school during annual day programs. she used to wear old clothes so I would tell her to go back home quickly and not meet my friends. she is no more and now I regret so much and wish I had never done that. seeing this video brought back all the memories and reminded me of how foolish and selfish I was to care about others opinion and not my grandma. I'm crying right now. I request everyone to not make the same mistake that I did as a child and cherish the bond you have with your loved ones.

No one should be ashamed of their parents jobs. My father worked a ‘low class’ job being a chef in a Chinese restaurant and there was not a day I didn’t think. When I was young, I was embarrassed whenever the topic was about father's job. My dad did not have a job. My mom was the sole breadwinner. I thought that I would be proud even if he was a janitor or had a lowly job. I used to be fascinated about my classmates whose fathers provided for them financially. As I grew up and now he's gone (rip), I wonder sometimes what he felt as a househusband. Was he embarrassed? Did he regret not providing for us? He was not perfect (so am I) but I'm thankful that he took care of us in his own ways.

Respect for those people who speak nicely to the girl and concern the situation that the girl doesnt want her friend see her father and look her differently (in negative way). If this happen for real instead of mad to the child, we adult should teach them to value what they have in nice words because they are, children/teens, also have their own problems, their own thoughts. We cant just mad and tell them what to do what to think, we should care more about their opinion and let them learn by themselves.

Oof, just the intro immediately was like a gut punch to my emotions. "I don't have a father like you." Immediately made my heart hurt. I was shocked when the man immediately offered his clothes though. I thought he was just going to sit back and watch at first. Also, there were so many very understanding people there who explained that they understood but also tried to help her get a better perspective of things and help her avoid regrets. And encouraged her to walk proudly no matter her background and financial status so long as she was working hard and not breaking the law.

He is so ashamed by himself, have no confidence at all, i tried my best to bring his confidence again but sometimes its so hard when people stare with jusging gaze. Then on my high school grauation, i lost it, i told him to wait on car for whole 3 hours. Way back home, i know he was sad, mad and feel humiliated but he still stay silent. Thats the biggest regret of my life. After years, everything is fine. Now idc about what people say. On my last year on university, i wnat to make it up with him. I want him to sit on my guess chair. i understand the girls point of view too. if kids say something like this, it is mostly because they have seen other people get bullied for something like this before and they're scared it will happen to them. Bullying is still a huge problem in schools, no matter in which country. they'll try to protect themselves but hurt their parents in the process. i had a similar situation when i was in high school. i went to a dance class with friends after school in the city, and my mom told me my dad would come pick me up. my mom and dad both have their own cars, but my dad somehow thought it would be "cool" to pick me up in his tractor. people made fun of me for that for the rest of my school life, calling me farmers daughter (my parents werent even farmers), asking if we had pigs at home since my nose looked like a pigs, telling me to tell my parents to pick me up further away from school because tractors stink, asking if i was so weird because i grew up on a farm and so on. claiming i was smelling bad even if i wasn't because "your dad probably drove u here in the tractor he transports animal shit with".my parents normally only picked me up in cars if they had to but because my dad thought it would be funny to pick me up in his tractor (he had that as a hobby) one time, i got made fun of for years afterwards. the girls concern is valid, but she shouldn't hurt her dad for his job. it's ok to explain the situation and her worry and he would probably understand too. because it's not the job that is shameful, it is the bullying of others that is shameful. and he probably would not want that to happen either.

When I 20 years old ,my Dad come to my college with old shirt. My dad is fisherman at village. When all my friends see my dad at the college ,they laughing to me because my fathers its not good looking like their father. I'm just be quiet. And I study very hard just for my father. I'm not feel embrassed just because my dad is fisherman .
