I’m not a member but I like this speaker

I wish my grandpa could have met Elder Uchtdorf. He was also a pilot who loved to talk about flying. Eventually, he had to give up his license because of a heart condition. But, several years later, in spite of there being little hope for Grandpa's survival, President Nelson operated on him and extended his life for another 25 years! As you can imagine, my family is very grateful to the Lord and President Nelson for that.

The Church of Jesus Christ is the most beautiful religion that God has made for us. All those who think differently prefer to live with out the light and promises of God. We will all have to answer for our deeds done on earth. We will never be happy without the reciprocation Gods love in our lives, especially when we leave this life after death.

This Man never disappoints me in his message and in the Spirit in which he speaks it. Thank you Elder Uchtdorf, you have brought me closer to God and closer to this Church by watching and listening to you over the years.

I love you Elder Uchtdorf, you are a light in our lives. Your love for truth, intelligence, and depth of spirit illuminate our paths.

Dieter F. Uchtdorf has always been my favorite apostle. His words touch my heart in ways like no other apostle's do, they connect with me like none other.

"My dear brothers and sisters, dear friends, as you search the word of God for a deeper understanding of God’s eternal plan, accept these invitations, and strive to walk in His Way, you will experience “the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,” even in the midst of sorrows. You will feel a greater measure of God’s unsurpassable love swelling within your heart. The dawn of celestial light will penetrate the shadows of your trials, and you will begin to taste the unspeakable glories and wonders of the unseen, perfect, heavenly sphere. You will feel your spirit lifting away from the gravity of this world." Wow! What a great talk, divine counsel and heavenly peace achieved!

This talk touches me deeply-I have dealt with a health issue that has caused me and my family problems for decades--and it has been difficult to find the help I need because doctors don’t agree with one another-and I’ve been like a birdie in a game of badminton. I loved this talk and I'm excited to listen to it again in the future. I sent this to my friend who is interested in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a youth!

When you think that there isn't much joy in this world and you haven't received many special gifts, then think upon this talk, this man, this church, this precious gift from a loving God. I am so deeply grateful that these amazing men have blessed us with their love of the Lord by serving and counseling us with such love. Thank you Elder Uchtdorf, your love for us is humbling.

What a wonderful apostle, loved his testimony of Christ, the joy, healing and peace found in His gospel. The aviation story was a nice long awaited touch too haha. God bless Elder Uchtdorf, the rest of the Quorum of the 12 and First Presidency. And God bless you all no matter who you are.

14:32 "the dawn of celestial light will penetrate the shadows of your trials" But my trials are to not have joy, and the Spirit was cut off for several years. My trial is to endure alone, in spiritual darkness, without comfort, guidance, or direction. That is the the very nature of the trial Heavenly Father has given me, and is almost beyond my ability to bear.

Dear Elder, I didn't know that every member of the church who works in the field of aviation is mocked and ridiculed by elders or senior members of the church. What about workers, merchants,doctors, and others? What about those who are poor and joined the church, having no financial support to move forward in life? However, we joined with humility and true faith in Jesus Christ,believing that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saint is the true. We are resolving our life challenges on our own.Yet others always showed us that we are sinners and we judged for tithing which we were homeless .So what type of job and servitude is valuable to you?that we may choose it and avoid being ridiculous. We love you in any position and role. Thanks

Wonderful talk! I know that Elder Uchtdorf is a true apostle of Jesus Christ, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's New Testament Church restored to the earth again. Some of the facts that point to the true church is a church with: apostles, prophets, preachers, teachers, evangelists (patriarchs), etc. Also, the priesthood which comes not from degrees in theology, but instead comes from God through his authorized servants by the laying on of hands. None of Christ's original apostles were choosen because of theological education, but rather, they were choosen by God, because he saw potential in them. The use of temples are another one. Isaiah prophesied: " In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it." - Isaiah 2:2 NIV Holy Bible The temple was also used post Resurrection of Jesus Christ, by his apostles. I think it's Luke 24:53, and again in acts 3. There are other things that I believe point to the fact that this is Jesus Christ's church, but these are some examples of ones that I though that I would share.

Danica i know we never married in the temple like the spirit told us too. I know you are married to the man your mother wanted you to marry.
