You know it took me a moment to come to grips with Batman with Beni-Enma until I realized that this was literally giving Batman a small bird themed sidekick. Obviously a sparrow rather than a robin in this case but I believe you are contractually obligated to have her wear a Robin mask at some point during this story.

I can see Krimhield actifley trying to het Harley away from the Joker. She would recognize whats going on here and probably even try and kill the Joker if she gets the chance.

I can really see Bruce’s decision to make the Batman more of a concept than a man biting him in the ass if a Batman servant is summoned and he acts more like what the criminals think Batman would act than how Bruce would act

If Bane doesn’t piledrive a Servant at one point, you’re not using his muscle side right. And of all of the Servants, unfortunately it’s Good Boi Percival because the others are hard to contrive a reason that makes sense.

Due to Batman fortitude, he might be able to summon multiple servants like the masters from FGO but each of them represent a member of the bat family. With Beni-Enma representing Jason, other ones could represent Grayson, Barbara ,Cassandra and Alfred.

As someone that is not really familiar with the fate series, this seems interesting. As others have mentioned, an antagonist summoning the concept of Batman would be a fun twist. But from what I can tell, none of the original versions of the spirits get to change their concept. Batman is still alive thus he can. Perhaps becoming less “vengeance incarnate” and more “the knight.” Chaining his concept and changing the allegiance of the spirit Batman. To show this he could open up his face plate for his mouth showing that he is human - and changing the red to blue, excellently symbolic and I like blue on Batman.

Man, I really hope Sherlock is somehow summoned for a dual detective team-up!

I feel like the start of this would be Batman using a command seal to make sure Beni Enma doesn’t kill, if for nothing else just to make sure she doesn’t cross a line that Batman would feel he himself crossed for summoning her, other than that I think all the choices are nice, it’ll be interesting to see an assassin in an actual grail war fight on the side of the heroes

Okay the "Command Breaker" is such a good idea though, and it feels perfect for Batman to try and implement something like that. He’s still going to hold true to his code, so it makes sense for him, with the help of one of the best magic users in the world, to find a way to take out the other Masters without killing them. Also, you are the definition of based for getting the GOAT Kite-Man a spot in the Grail War. Would adore seeing more videos covering this setup.

Curiously, i think that Batman could has the potential to become 6 Servant classes: - Saber, as Batman was trained in swordsmanship during his travelings, even he carries a retractile sword within his Bat-belt. - Archer, as Batman carries a lot gadgets within himself, mainly, his batarangs. - Lancer, as Batman trained to wields several weapons, including staffs and spears. - Rider, as Batman rides in many vehicles, like the Bat-mobile and the Bat-wing - Assassin, as Batman is a master in the stealth, to disappears and to ambushes his enemies. - Berserker, as Batman's mental traumas could implies that he has to deals with the insanity during his life.

Given most of the Grail Wars we have seen have at least one Extra Class Servant, I could see a few possibly options. A Ruler meant to enforce laws and order such as a more Default version of Qin Shi Huang, Artoria, or Martha that fit a more conventional Grail War. Alternatively an Avenger who represents the more hateful and malevolent side of punishing criminals could work as well such as the Count of Montes Christo.

Ohh this is such a cool concept. As someone who also loves Batman stuff and the fate series, this was so cool and will definitely be living rent free in my head for a bit. The master-servant pairings all look so cool and interesting and I can already see some cool dynamics, you went into some of the potential conflict between Beni-Enma and Batman, but I can also see some really cool stuff from other characters. Ashvattaman and Red Hood specifically, because while on the surface it’d probably look like a “two reckless angry people” dynamic, I feel like they could have some very deep and philosophical conversation on the nature of anger and revenge. Kite-man and Percival feels like the kind of thing where Kite man does something illegal and Percival just says “I’m not mad, just disappointed.” I’ll admit I’m not the most well versed on Cass, but from what I know of her backstory I feel like she and Chiyome could bond over some level of insecurity caused by their lineage (Chiyome with her curse and Cass with her parents being David Cain and Lady Shiva). The most interesting thing I can think of however, would be Beni’s reaction to Red Hood, because at I can genuinely see her agreeing with Red Hood’s philosophy if maybe not his methods. I feel like the eight heads in a duffel bag would be a bit too far for her tastes, but I do think she’d agree on the whole killing certain criminals.

I would say as a modification for the command breaker idea having it leach out mana which could either be used for extra suit functions or just filtered back to the head chef. It’s a promising idea, you could also have some servant/master pairings operating on jobs to gain extra energy for things like being able to more freely use noble phantasms and extra abilities. Except Anne and Mary who are probably just in it for the theft. :3

I realy like these ideas, intresting Servant choices and a nice roster. Also...KITE MAN! YES! I legit hope that by the end of this he just becomes a full on Hero calling himself...THE KITE KNIGHT! Working to redeem himself and...to honor his friend and mentor proove himself worthy to be called a Member of the Round Table. Just imagine how that turn out if he ever meets Artoria and legit gains her approvel and is declared a Knight. I can see so much fun but also legit great story potential with this.

I think with Beni-Enma it's less she'd being more than willing to kill the villianous people of Gotham and more that she's willing to dole out harsher ounishments for the crimminals of Gotham, including the execution of the people she'd believe to be the worse offenders. The struggle between master and servant would probably be about the nature of crime and punishment, how far one should go to execute Justice, what it means to kill and to kill for the sake of Justice and punishing crimes, etc. In a way both can learn a lot from eachother and grow because of it.

here is a idea if you do continue this little story. since Fate Samurai Remnant has a lot of servants with no masters in who can make alliances or non agression packs with other Masters, this could up the stacks a lot for Batman such as the Rogue Berserker being Joker or Batman dealing with Rouge Servants causing a lot of chaos in Gotham because since they are summoned to there with no master to restrict there movements, they can do what ever they want. just a fun idea to up the stakes for Batman

This sounds like a really cool crossover, that said I would've liked red hood to be a surprise and to have an avenger-class servant. Moriarty as a servant for one of the villains would also be cool. Honestly Bane might be a bit too OP with Scheherazade, her tales are insanely strong buffs based on the Ooku event and Bane is already really powerful even without them. I would've also liked to see Clayface with Enkidu or Solomon Grundy with Yu Mei-Ren.

This sounds like a great idea. I will say that Artoria herself stated that a hero can qualify for Multiple Classes, so You shouldn't feel constrained to the Current Class depictions. Example: Percival and Kiteman seems hilarious, but it might make more sense to go with a Rider Percival rather than Lancer.

Making a Foreigner servant for the idea would be complicated in DC given aliens are present. But then again it’s more focused on eldritch ones to a degree. Though for a foreigner to be unique, it would have to be a dead DC character of odd proportions. One comes to mind being Wesley Dodds/Sandman from the JLA. It’s mostly due to him having an odd contract of sorts with Dream of the Endless, given he had to somewhat fulfill the role of a dream agent when Morpheus was imprisoned.

Challenge accepted good sir and or ma’am and or something in between! May I introduce you to Sherlock Holmes? One of Batman biggest idol who would help him dismantling the whole holy grail system returneing Gotham City back to its more crime ridden self that Batman can handle by himself. And, Sherlock would give Batman the comfort and key to get Jason back. With that said, if I used your setting to set up my version of the holy grail it will be the following: Saber Mordred and Zatanna (Zatanna, the ever loving optimistic showman magician who has some lingering issue trying to live up to Zatara and is a close friend to two famous grumpies in DC multiverse would make sense to teaming up with a hot head daddy issue knights of the round. Also she has a reason to be in Gotham at the time: She has a show there, Jason Todd is dead, and Batman is still grieving). Jason and Kiritsugu Emiya (I choose this pair because I could see the league of assassin Ra’s al Gual teaches the extreme version of Unitarianism and this plus him seeing Batman as a father figured who has failed him makes them bond like a deadly father and son duo). Cassandra and Okita (I choose this pairing because this grail war would be focusing on her as a protagonist as Batman being the ultimate background deus ex machina for this event so to keep up with tradition, the protagonist gets to have a saber face. Secondly Okita could introduce herself as a cop to Cassandra who works in the shadow to slain the bad guys could ease Cassandra because “she’s just like Batman frfr”) Batman and Sherlock Holmes (This one makes sense to me as explained above. Plus Batman would seek out the other magic users he can get his hands on to shut down the holy grail for good like Dr Fate) As for the villains and their servants? Yeah, those are solid peaks.

I don't know? I feel like Batman would be compatible with Heroic Spirit Emiya or a Soldier-type servant. Also, Batman's wish. If he had to make one, would either be the obvious one of trying to bring his parents or Jason back to life before he learns that he's alive or to end all crime in Gotham forever and get an existential crisis as the Grail pulls a "kiritsugu" and tries to break his will. I've also been thinking it would be fun to see what type of servant class each hero and villain would be in DC if they were heroic spirits.

A great video and idea. I don’t know if that works for the story you are doing but I think seeing kiritsugu would be cool. The idea of him and Batman taking about what it means to be a hero of justice. Batman hating the way kiritsugu fights.

I’m definitely expecting that Batman had planned to summon someone more conventional like King Arthur or Sigurd, but some accident like Alfred leaving the tea too close to the summoning ritual leads to Batman getting chef Beni Ramsey instead. I mean Batman definitely has the money for a top tier catalyst like Avalon or Fafnir’s heartscales.

If the Grail war was being plotted by Ra's then he should've prepared a strong catalyst to cheat, so you can have Jason steal it just like Waver did and it'd have been for an Extra class like Ruler or Avenger, Edmond Dantes would be the best option since he's THE Avenger and he's in goddamn Gotham, giving him a status like Vlad in Romania. Also a great idea would be to have the Gothic Grail war be themed around antiheroes, monsters and criminals instead of just heroic spirits, then you could have wildcards like Fafnir and Vritra as counterparts to Benienma and a reason to have Kriemhild around. Fafnir's immortal as long as the Rheingold is around and the insane criminals would be killing eachother over the gold, becoming dragons around gotham until the real Fafnir pops up. You could have Batman and the others kill Fafnir a couple of times with high diff since Fafnir is broken as shit. Then Kriemhild can take Siegfried's place killing the dragon at the end, claiming the gold and dying, since she's the one that managed to use it in life.

I often though a about a magic based batman too but my idea was a successor like Huntress a chid of bruce from another reality with Zatanna as the main love interest instead of Selena a son like Damian user of darkness and dark magic but tamed.

Now imagine a Holy Grail War happening during the Injustice Universe, with all the crazy reality bending nonsense that was going on there things could REALLY get out of hand, especially since the gods of Olympus got involved at some point which opens up the possibility of Divine Spirits getting involved. (Totally off topic but suddenly I can't help but wonder what would happen if Batman/ Bruce Wayne was the Master of Chaldea during the events of FGO or at least one of the staff.)

This concept is definitely amazing, and Under the Red Hood is my favorite Batman Movie. I love the pairings between the characters and the servants. I've seen other things for this concept that the extra class would go to Batman and it would be Holmes, but Beni is just too perfect, and lines up well for a Batman story But considering that it takes place during Under the Red Hood... I'm just spitballing, but I would totally expect for the one Extra Class that appears for a Grail War just be the Batman who Laughs in the Foreigner Class, summoned by the Joker, using himself as a catalyst.

I would have assumed a perfect servant for Batman would be Holmes. Moriarty for Joker would also make for great contrast. I do love how well beni enma works though.

Happy birthday hope it's a good one now for some weird thoughts. Jason blood is an Arthurian Knight bonded to merlin's demon and fates merlin doing that is on brand and hilarious. Jonah Hex is a cowboy from the old west who's body is preserved in booster golds bar (sometimes) and is on brand as a servant. As alternate timelines exist and summoning living beings from the is a thing fate can do Batman Summoning Batman is something you can do. Lastly merlin can't be summoned unless the world is destroyed or its a time before he was born cause he's immortal SO characters like Brainiac 5 and Kamandi could be summoned from the future. Interesting I just happen to see this pop up so i can work with the concept however I'll note cause of the setting i can't imagine this function without something going wrong. In this case I can't see this preceding without joker interfering in this case his interference causes a batch of Rouge Servents to show up and since gotham has been the cesspool of crimes most if not all the rouge servents fall pretty high in the evil alignment not only that cause their not masters any of rouges form batmans gallery can manage to work with these servents via compatibility of how they work. With the biggest threat out of this servant gallery that batman would face being James Moryartiy.

I don't want to be that guy, but imo for Batman would be better Beni Enma Alter (who makes an appearance in LB7), also I'm not too sure about the Kite Man choice for Lancer, more so that some other more fitting candidates could have gotten a different lancer (like Azrael who could have gotten maybe Vlad III). Honestly the best alternative I could imagine is Batman summoning Sherlock Holmes as a Caster, them both being detectives! Otherwise Jack would make a great daughter for Harley! And Mr Freeze could get some great play off either Anastasia or Asclepius! As an aside if you did give Batman, or Commissioner Gordon perhaps in this case Holmes! You could give Moriarty to the Riddler, funded by the Penguin! Who could eventually break off with him, to set him as the fall guy, before eventually transferring Masters to Cobblepot himself, either attempting to rope the Joker into his plans, or challenging him, Batman, and the police directly! If the Joker is out of commission, he’d still try to set the chessboard for a gambit against whatever players are available! Likely trying to turn factions against each other before attempting to stack the remaining cards in his favor later with more direct tactics!

Okay, I think at least 2 Gotham natives (say one poor and one rich) should be Masters. And hopefully not all of them are guys, for the sake of variety! Same with Servants... Matchups should be plenty! Make everyone fight everybody else at least once! So figure out excuses to interrupt the fights! Nerf or buff them accordingly! You can shift genres between scenes. Simultaneously dark and silly! Car chases, prison breaks, heart-to-hearts, the whole package! I'm sure you can make it simple enough for anyone to enjoy!

Cat woman’s should a cat theme Servant like Atalanta Archer and Batman’s servant should be Edmond Dantes Avenger or Sherlock Holmes Ruler who a famous detectives. As another Fate/ fan who’s oldest Fandom is Batman I’m surprised I haven't already thought of this. My thoughts about Crossing over Batman with an Anime franchise have largely focused on Lupin III and Detective Conan. But I am now so thanks for poisoning my already cluttered imagination. The first Nasuverse franchise I tend to associate with Batman is Kara no Kyoukai. You know the thing where Batman fans hate on the spot No Man’s Land redesign of Gotham City, saying making Gotham look like a modern City makes it not “Gothic” anymore? I’ve always hated how much of a superficial understanding of what Gothic means that is. Whatever one thinks of the execution of it in modern Batman Comics and Movies I point to the UFOtable adaptation of Kara no Kyoukai as the proof that it can work, they make a Modern City with Modern Architecture feel Gothic and it’s beautiful. I would have Zatanna be the Mages Association representative. And she would be the only not specifically originally Batman character I’d even consider including. I guess I consider her close enough because she was on BTAS fairly early. I respect the restraint in not using The Joker, it’s a restraint I feel DC currently lacks and I love many great Jokerless Batman stories. But a Holy Grail War is exactly the kind of thing that needs that last minute Wild Card quality that is my favorite use of The Joker. Johnny Young Bosch is an actor I really want to hear voice The Joker some day, the first reason why is Durarara and the second is Fate/Zero. I feel like I’m one of the few Batman fans who still wishes the Under The Red Hood stuff never happened. I liked the initially story itself on its own, its movie adaptation is probably my favorite non DCAU Batman Animated Movie, but its effect on Batman Canon I hate as much I hate Damien. I prefer Jason staying dead and wouldn't bring him back unless…… unless…. Wait…. I am really going there???
