I actually want to see Guinevere as the villain This is the scenario: She's a leader of a singularity base on Camelot(again for the 3rd time probably the reason why she wouldn't debut) BUT she wants to BE the Perfect Queen this time around summoning a Heroic spirit based on the White Dragon(if Artoria is the Red Dragon according to Fate mythos the new servant will be summon will be based on the White Dragon) a Male Lancer/Saber[RIDER] (A situation like Cu Alter) while she is the Queen she doesn't love the new Heroic spirit and the same goes for him they made a Camelot that instead of a round Table there's a "Triangle Table" that has the new King at the absolute top and instead of the normal knights of the Round we will have the Lostbelt counter part be summoned plus Archer EMIYA alongside Morgan Le Fay Cnoc, and Castoria they will fight against the New King, Queen Guinevere and the the rest of the Original Knights of the Round(if they do it it'll be the perfect chance to debut them and make Agravain playable) . . . . . . . If you're asking why EMIYA is included 1st Archer EMIYA=Shirou he had/has the Avalon he can also with the cost of most of his mana make Caliburn(and with the cost of him dematerializing Excalibur) which can be a great plot point 2nd If I remember correctly I remember seeing something about one of the greatest grievancess of the camelot heroes is Artoria's inhumanity and with that Love so EMIYA coming along is the perfect peice because of the whole EMIYA= Shirou thing which person is more perfect to bring down Guinevere the one who started the collapse of Camelot because of her love than the man who later love the same King she holds dear and loves him back (why not Muramasa? Muramasa is more Muramasa than Shirou also Muramasa sometimes feel like UBW Shirou while Archer EMIYA feels more like Stay Night Shirou if he became Archer)
I at least want to see Guinevere's design even if she only appears in flashbacks And come ON! Sir Kay is already a Servant and has his own NP, that being Camelot Image, as we see in the El-Melloi series. They have no excuse not to put him in FGO!
Lancelot wanted to be punished for stealing Guinevere. But was let go. He committed atrocities in order to seek punishment and atonement. The once great white knight became the black knight.
I was just thinking the other day of Artoria and a recently summoned Gwen bickering and using a harried and completely stressed out Mordred as a go between/messenger like a pair of bitter divorcees.
I absolutely love this character you've come up with! Her backstory is super interesting and very unique character trait with her expression is a very good selling point. You've definitely got a new subscriber with me!
It would be interesting to see Gwenivier’s reaction to the other people that developed feelings for Artoria. Like imagine her finding out that Gilgamesh wants to have her as a bride or the influence she had on Emiya.
I do hope we get a guinevere someday... if only to force more exploration of the dynamics between round table characters. I'm not a big fan of any sort of romantic reconciliation between artoria and guin though. 1. firstly fate guinevere felt more like a different kind of "knight" in fate lore to me. so seeing romance between the two would feel as weird as gawain or lancelot suddenly developing romantic feelings in the wake of reunion/reconciliation. Guivenevere's grief in the wake of artoria's "death" felt more akin to to the deep grief expressed by the other knights albeit with a different angle because she'd been party to both camelot's inner workings and ultimate downfall. 2. secondly, from how i understood it, part of the importance of the fate/stay routes was artoria learning and developing into someone capable of connecting to and loving people. so artoria reconciling with and falling in love with guin might technically be possible but would feel deeply out of character to me. but that's just my biased two cents. i'll also admit i''m not generally a fan of shipping/matchmaking... so the idea of adding a character just to pair people up makes me feel ick lol..
as an aside, my hope would be that we would get something similar to what readers got the briefest, tragic peak at in in T.H.White's Once&Future King: 3 mature friends (arguably closer than lovers? maybe transcending past?) who'd gone through shit together, hurt each other, reconciled, choosing to try and find a path forward together. Injecting romance into that curdles me inside a bit
Guin and combat is interesting, as some have her as a total non combatant, someone who, when the chips are down, could defend herself with a dagger if needed, or even being a full on warrior queen
I have a rather funny scene that I just thought of; the first time Guinevere uses her ability to summon a Knight, instead of a round table, she summons Ned Kelly because he was "technically" a knight. Imagine the comedy between the queen of legend and an Australian bushranger( also he could help her out with her issues as an outside perspective)
My brain just thought of BB walking in on Hakuno watching this video and trying to figure out how to have kids with Hakuno, and yes, I said kids as in multiple
I think Guinevere would wish for Artoria's happiness. by wishing for her king's happiness she would most likely be forgiven by Artoria and Artoria may actually bless her and Lancelot's relationship. maybe just maybe Artoria would introduce Guinevere to her Shirou
here is a idea for a FATE Video Game for Queen Guinevere. imagine if she was summoned to a Holy Grail War in the Britian's Past (sometime after the end of Arthurian Legend) and due to the problems with the Holy Grail War, was summoned as a Caster and not as a ruler and chose to fight as the players Servant hoping she can undo what she done
Fun fact about Arthurian Legend: the oldest known stories of King Arthur originate from welsh legend, and in welsh legends he had three wives. The first is called Gwenhwyfar, the daughter of Gwent (Cywryd); the second is called Gwenhwyfar, the daughter of Gwythyr son of Greidiawl; and the third wife is Gwenhwyfar, daughter of Gogrvan the Giant. He also three concubines: Indeg daughter of Garwy the Tall, and Garwen ("Fair Leg") daughter of Henin the Old, and Gwyl daughter of Gendawd ("Big Chin").
@londonmason6129 well technically Wales didn't even exist back then Wales was split into multiple kingdoms so no not really a Welsh fairy tail but definitely did originate in that area also the oldest version of king Arthur we know of may not even be Welsh theirs a possibility that it could be celtic
@@anotheronebitesthedust-fs6wr Well, the oldest recorded stories we have about King Arthur can be found from the area known as wales, that’s what my comment said.
@@londonmason6129 either way it still technically British given the many birth places of many characters some of the older versions claim that atleast Gareth and gawain were born in cornwall and I do beilve arthur was also born their it may have been created by the whoever inhabitants the land of what would eventually become Wales but at its heart it's still British thanks to the many locations within alot of its folklore
@@anotheronebitesthedust-fs6wr I didn’t say that he didn’t eventually become a British figure, all I said was that the earliest written stories come from wales, why are you even arguing with me?
That make sense. Do i stop having any form of hope for fgo because 1. Where is the yaoi/bl elements!, 2. Male summer, 3. Fucking camezozt who fans WANT and 4. Fgo dosent care for fans
Artoria.. do you have a gift for antagonizing people? Were you born solely to impugn my dignity? Why did you name a noble phantasm only good for destroying things after me? Say it to my face. i dare you. -Morgan
Heck we kinda know Artoria IS Bisexuel. She IS having a threesome with Rin AND Shirou. Im not sure if it was in UBW ore Hollow Attraxia but she clearly is into woman as well. Heck it probably was just the hole "A King can not be human" nonsense she was following back then that made her never properly fall in love with Guinevere
I do kinda hope that if Guinevere shows up in chaldea she will act motherly towards Mash. Like yeah I agree she should not fawn fore Lancelot. But I can ttally see her treating a child of his like its her own. Especley Mash who dosnt have parents of her own besides Lancelot who she UNFAIRLY calls a deadbeat. Wich is a HORRIBLE gag. So having Mash have a proper mother daughter relationship with Guinevere would be adorable...and at the same time I want her to treat Mordred the same. In her eyes, Artoria and Lancelots children, the children of the two poeple she loves the most, are her kids too. Also Mordred and Mash as siblings is an adorable image and the moment that thing clicks in Mordreds head I cant help but imagine Mordred making it wary clear to Ritsuka what will happen to them if they ever break Mashs heart. Overprotectife Big Sis Mordred would be awsome!
I think thats the same reason why we havent gotten Sir Kay. You know ARTORIAS ADOPTET BROTHER as a Servant. You cant have the person that probably knows Artoria just as well as Merlin and Shirou do and NOT have them interact with Base Saber Artoria. Same goes fore Proper Human History Ector. And yes I agree this hole "Artorias story is told" thing is complete and UTTER BULLSHIT. YES her charakter development is MOSTLY done. But I dont fucking care I wanna see Artoria and Mordred make up properly! Give BOTH of them this massife closure! Honestly I think this is also why we dont have any FSN Psudo Servants where the FSN charakter is in control. So they can happely avoid having to write Shirou reunite with Artoria. When I be honest Artoria and Shirou meeting again and Shirou just instantly treatet Mordred like shes his child and being a parent to her is one of my biggest wishes in the Fate franchise! Artoria, Shirou and Mordred all deserve to be a happy famaly so let thos two lovebirds ruinite and finally let Mordred have parents that give a crap about her. And I also wanna see Artoria interact with her knights! I wanna see her Knights react to the changed Artoria that has developed through two grail wars! Like come on just give us a bloody Interlude where in each section she interacts with like two of her knights and end it with her aknowleging Mordred as her child! Is that realy SO MUCH to ask?!
My favourite personal headcannon for Guinevere is that she has a similar two Noble Phantasms to Medb; Arthur My Love (access to a weakened version of Excalibur/Rhongomyniad/or something, and Lancelot My Love (access to a weakened version of Arondight)
Guinevere doesn't fit as a Saber or Lancer though. She's most suitable as a Caster and her NP could have her summon Lancelot himself and her second NP could be her summoning Camelot.
@@roosiniimiamiciii6666 To be fair, she is a warrior-queen. In the original myths, she raised an army to fight against Ulster all on her own and has even fought on the battlefields. I don't think Guinevere has ever done something like that.
I'm a fan of the interpretation that Guinevere was the original Britomart, thus Chaldea Brito would be her daughter and that we've technically fought her before in Ordeal Call 2
Gwenivier would get the Madea treatment they would solve her tragedy in one story and then give her a lily version that fixates on Lancelot despite the original character being infinitely more interesting
Well garden of avalon does imply that he became some sort of spiritual force or a countergaurdian given that he disappeared and was never confirmed dead I'm praying to God that uther or king athelstan turns out to be grand saber
I had this idea of Lancelot giving Guinevere her space by making sure he isn't in the same room as her for longer than Necessary like finishing a conversation or getting himself food and yes I think the idea of Guinevere having Artoria merch of the saber version mostly also I think Mordred would be very confused on how to act around Guinevere
I hope we get a fate samurai remnant styled video game based in Britain/uk also I do belive that one day we could potentially have her in fgo like seriously lostbelt 6 was such a missed opportunity when it came to many obscure arthurian characters
I know it's a joke headcannon, but have Gwenivier encounter a hypothetical Rider Lancelot. The Rider is meant to be an abhorrent portrayal of the romance he and her had, and of course this gag version of Lancelot would horrify the queen of Camelot, reject that kind of relationship forever, just accept the Saber he always is, and eventually she will be forgiven by Saber Artoria.
I just had an idea. Mushashi combined with Musashi. Gender change ascension. We think it's the male version but then it turns out they combined into a combined servant like Romulus Quirinus.
And then we got Cags who was so good at making forgiries that even mages were fooled into thinking that they were real which is why he's in the Pretender class.
