Here is a tip when it comes to horses. Never approach a horse you don't know. If you do stay away from their front or hind ends go to there shoulder blades this is for safety if you go to the front you could get bit or the horse could paw you if you go to the back the horse can kick you. Fun fact. The closer to a horses rear you are the less it will hurt.

You don't just walk up to a horse and touch its head. They can't see directly in front of them and you should approach their shoulder on their left side. Don't touch their face unless you are sure they are fine, and don't stand right behind them or they will kick you.

Hi Mumbo! I doubt you'll see this comment but I just thought I'd let you know this: In the video you went to stroke the horse but it knocked the camera as it moved its head, but the thing is horses can't actually see directly between their eyes, so it didn't know that the camera was there. You probably made it jump a little bit, and it didn't look as though it was going to attack you. I've been working with horses for around 5 years now, so I thought I'd let you know that. The best way to approach a horse is from the side so it can see you, and watch it's eyes and ears. If the ears go back and it shows the whites of its eyes, step away as it may attack. Hope you visit the new forest again soon, it's a really beautiful place!
