Nice choice! Great location too! Just note there is a slope up heading to the hotel haha, unless you plan to take a taxi! We also plan on reviewing this hotel as well! But regardless, hope your trip goes well in Singapore!
Nice profile of the hotel. Since you're a paying customer, please add a pool test/swim portion to the video. Are towels readily available at the pool? Can you order drinks poolside? If so, how is the pricing for poolside drink service? In terms of the front desk staff, do they know the area? Can the arrange travel such as a taxi? Would they be able to connect you with a great buffet for dinner? Meaning, make the reservation at the place and call a taxi for you? Do they know of the best hiking trail in the area and how to get to it? Or, what the best location is to catch a rooftop sunset (and again how to get to the place)? Or, are there fireworks happening somewhere in the area and how to get to them?
Thanks! Interesting take on this, will definitely keep in view of it! Front desk staff really depends on each individually honestly. haha some will give you top notch service while others just wanna go home lol.
Thank you for the information. However I have a purpose to stay overnight which is to explore the dream world when I sleep. I don’t have to go for the meals provided.
Hi we are going to Singapore for the 1st time. We are thinking of getting either Hotel Boss or V Hotel Lavender. They both are around USD $100 per night. I believe they are close by. Are they in a good location with MTR close by with many budget restaurants or shops around? Do you recommend these 2 hotels? Thanks
Hi! Firstly, welcome to Singapore! Both hotels are indeed along the same road, V Hotel Lavender is situated right on top of the Lavender MRT. Hotel Boss is slightly further down (but sheltered) but is located nearer to Kampung Gelam area, aka Singapore's Muslim Quarter. So its filled with shophouses that has loads of food! Below V Hotel Lavender has a couple of stores as well for food but not as much as Hotel Boss. Hotel Boss is alright for us, a tad bit small but never stayed at V Hotel Lavender before, but both seems decent! Hope this helps! And hope you have an awesome stay in Singapore!
Hey no problem! Thats the reason why we do these videos! There are loads of good food at Kampung Gelam, also known as Singapore’s Muslim Quarter. In that area have a variety of food, not just Malay food! You can try the ever famous Zam Zam but in my honest opinion, it is not as good as before 🥲 Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any questions ☺️ and wish you a good and safe trip to Singapore 🙆🏽♂️
Hey! Appreciate it! The hotel sound isolation of the room isnt the best if thats what you are asking. Lobby tends to get extremely over crowded as well. Honestly, I would say Studio M is alot better. But Hotel Boss has a slightly better location in terms of its surrounding as well! Hope this helps!
Depend on which you use. Singapore uses the 3 pin kind similarly to the UK. Either that or the 2 pin round one, not straight ones! Better to google them for pictures! But if you use neither, then yes, you need travel adapters!
The main area will be Kampung Gelam. The rest are HDBs and mosques. Kampung Gelam has a relatively lively nightlife at a street call Haji Lane where there are a couple of bars around!
