The download may have killed his computer, but the email with the video and virus is still in his email. I'm sure there is a way to still get and use it. This true depending on the email platform. Gmail for instance would be there. Outlook running can be setup to delete emails once the email is downloaded. If not setup this way the email with the attachments would still be on the email server.
