As others have mentioned.. I'm impressed how clean the white trays are . In uk we don't use so many of the white trays but lots of clear plastic . Our recycling is collected from our homes every two weeks.... but unfortunately not everyone washes it properly. I find these videos fascinating. 😊

В России люди не сортируют мусор, не собирают отдельно пластик. Но у нас около дома поставили контейнер для сбора пластиковых бутылок. Я всегда с удовольствием выбрасываю туда всё, что подходит для этого сбора, но так делают далеко не все. Но я считаю, что это очень хорошее и нужное дело, да и что сложного - в отдельный пакет собрать пластик и выбросить в нужный контейнер. Этот японский завод сохраняет чистоту планеты, сберегает ресурсы, даёт работу людям. Уважаю труд, восхищаюсь людьми!!!

Вы ошибаетесь насчет России, есть, например, компания "Собиратор" с одноименным сайтом, которая работает во многих региональных центрах России, но пунктов сбора недостаточно все равно. Люди сортируют помытый предварительно дома мусор, хотя таких немного. Бумагу, стекло, по номерам пластика, пакеты, которых неимоверное количество, а не просто один пластик в кучу, старую мелкую бытовую технику, батарейки, металл, я в том числе. Сортирую с 2018 года, это в Москве, чего я только не сдала за эти годы. На выходных в пункте сбора вообще не протолкнуться, приезжают и на джипах сдавать, и на своих двоих. Работают волонтеры Людей, кто сдает, становится все больше, и это радует!

It’s great they are doing this but Japan is the worst for over packaging everything. One chocolate will go in a little box then a bag then a bigger fancier box tied with a ribbon. Looks absolutely beautiful but just about every product, especially those considered high end are massively over packaged. Every nation is guilty of this but Japan is way up there. I love Japan, not hating on them.

In the EU, the following single-use plastic products were banned on July 3, 2021: plastic cutlery and plates, drinking straws, stirrers, cotton buds and balloon sticks; Disposable plates, mugs or cutlery made from bio-based or biodegradable plastics; Disposable cardboard plates and bowls, as soon as they consist of a small amount of plastic or are covered with plastic; Styrofoam to-go containers and to-go drinks cups. but unfortunately no containers made of the usual plastic, definitely a shame for lobby work, but other disposable products are also a waste. Multiway is the way

@@167mm167 Well to start, its salt water so its not like they can go and use it to irrigate a farm....secondly, its got less tritium than any national safety standard at 1500 becquerel per liter. Also, tritium is not dangerous if slowly released in diluted form; what Japan is doing.

色んな種類（ＰＰ・ＰＳ）や　形（長方形・正方形）や　色（白・黒・カラフル）の　トレイがあるが、リサイクルする為に　ある程度は統一できないんかね？と思う。地域によって、回収できたりできなかったりするし、スーパーも仕事増えて人材が必要になるから、回収をしない所もある。トレイに吸収材（血抜きや油抜き）で色を変えるだけで、基本的には白色で統一した方が、無駄がないと思うんだけどな。例えば精肉は白の正方形で　グラムにより深さが変わるとか、ブランド肉で高級感出すなら　吸水シートを黒とかの色付きにするとかね。揚げ物惣菜は黒にして、彩りは吸油シートで変化させれば良いじゃない。何か…　無駄な工程が多いよね。

すごい技術とシステム。働いている人もすごい。ただきちんとした炉で燃やすのとこのリサイクルに使われるすべてのエネルギーを考えるとどちらがいいのか？？発泡トレーは白に統一するべきでは？ただ売るときと買うときだけの問題なんだし。とにかくまずは使用料を減らさないといけませんね。

It's an amazing job the Japanese are doing. In Australia, we don't recycle anymore. We do have recycle bins that are collected every fortnight, but the waste goes directly into landfills ever since independent countries stopped accepting our recyclables due to them being infested with vermin because Australians hadn't put clean recyclables into their recycle bins. Unfortunately, Australia has become a rather lazy country when it comes to caring for the environment. I am concerned about the workers' hearing in that plant. I originally thought they were all wearing earmuffs, but it's obvious they're not. It is extremely noisy, and I'd hate to think what their hearing would be like in a few years time.

Same in America. A friend drives a recycling truck and he says the bins are loaded with maggots. Some people throw half full soft drink bottles in the bin of plastic containers with food still in them. China won't take our recyclables anymore.

@167mm167 exactly this is criminal. For years, they've been storing everything in sealed tanks, and I remember a while ago them talking about how they were going to run out of room for the storage. Now, low and behold, this water isn't dangerous anymore and can be released into the ocean. 🤦‍♀️There's no way the international community is buying this, especially as it's obvious Grossy's been bought. I don't know if they've even answered the question as to why it can't go into the Japanese water supply because lots of countries have asked them.

Именно. Согласен! Нужен полный запрет на одноразовую посуду из пластика и пакеты. Не для людей, а для бизнеса. Для компаний, производящих такую упаковку. И магазинов, которые эту упаковку продают. Огромные штрафы! Чтобы фирмы разорились, если продолжат выпуск такой вредной продукции. Оставить только стекло, бумагу и ткань. Никакого пластика!

What I`m curious about is how there trays on the conveying belt are so clean without any contanimation? they should be more or less mix with consumer remains. How to make them clean before recycling is a social problem.

まだ今までのように環境問題が声高に言われなかった昭和の時代、高効率で焼却による発電ができる焼却設備を建設した埼玉県のK市では、回収が進み始めていたペットボトルなども燃料として燃やすような施策をしていた。確かに市としては発電による売電で収入があり、環境負荷も少なく排気が少ないというふれこみの焼却設備をフル稼働したかったのだろうが、果たしてどれが正解なのかは賛否両論で難しい。プルトップを集めて車椅子と交換するとか、ペットボトルのキャップを集めるなどということもどうなんだろうと思う。

今でも分けたプラスチックの大半を燃やしているので燃やした方がいい。普通の焼却炉でも温度が下がるとダイオキシンが発生するのでプラスチックを燃やして火力を上げている。それでも火力が足りないと燃料を使う。つまりプラスチックの分別は最初から不要。リサイクルにもエネルギーが必要だし無駄でしかない。こんな原価1枚数円のものを人件費と機械を使って分けるだけで赤字だろ。燃やすのが一番いい、発電ができるなら最高じゃん。

科学者の武田邦彦先生もおっしゃっていますが、燃やした方が環境に良いと。それにリサイクル率のカラクリもありますし。CO2が減って植物が絶滅しますよｗ

リサイクルする前に必ず洗剤で綺麗に洗ってから出します。だから綺麗に感じるだけです。勿論、水を溜めて洗うようにすれば、余分な水や洗剤は使いません。

To tell you the inconvenient truth, 50% of waste plastics collected in developed countries have been exported to China and are being treated unclearly. Since they stopped importing from 2018, it has simply moved to Southeast Asia, which is less regulated. We need to reduce plastic use and increase recycling rates domestically.

i just wonder how long an a person,at that speed, stand on the conveyors and do the sorting? now i am looking for a film, what are they doing with all those chopsticks? at least there it is easy? wood and plastic. but then there are black chopsticks,wood imitation brown chopsticks, suppose all this also has to be sorted out?

in the beginning i was wondering how come those trays so clean? where are the scraps, smudges, stains? then i realize it's japan and even showed the instruction sign on the recycling bin telling people to wipe off clean their tray before dumping it in the bin. only japanese people have that kind of discipline. in america you'd only probably see 1 out of 10 ten trays wiped clean.

ショート動画を見て、もっと詳しく知りたいと思い来ました。回収BOXには透明容器は「シールを剥がして下さい」とあったと思ったけど、シール貼ったままでも良いんだ色付きの食品トレーはどうなったか透明容器はどういう基準で分別しているのか、色々解説が欲しいですリサイクル業者様には感謝です

Nešlo by to zjednodušit tím, že by se vyráběly jen tácky atd. jen jedné barvy? Případně sběr podle barev? A co úspora barev už při výrobě? A takový materiál, který je nejsnáze recyklovatelný?

Yes I have always thought that The cost of everyone washing them at home, picking them up, transport to this place, all that machinery and lots of people and power used. Would be much cheaper just to use new pellets
