What a journey. At first, I was still on my budget android phone and using custom ROM based on MIUI. And now I have an actual Xiaomi phone with MIUI. 🔥 Can't wait for the new HyperOS 😌
me too i can't wait because oh my god there is a lot of nostalgia since i started with a budget device (redmi note 5a) now with a semi-flagship device (xiaomi 13t pro)
the 13t pro is an amazing flagship phone! congratulations! i can't wait for my future xiaomi devices too either haha, i had a redmi note 10 and now i have a Xiaomi 12X@@aimanfitri0iv
@@alpitu21 wow that's awesome actually so far my experience with xiaomi 13t pro for the past just one month I'm super satisfied and never regretted 😄💖😍
@@LoganT547there are many brands that are selling for almost same or less price, and they aren't giving ads. It's fine in budget or low range smartphones but even in high end devices? Then that pathetic. I am using an x6 pro and I am frustrated because of ads, you can reduce them but can't complete l stop them.
I always liked MIUI, but at some point the system lost its chips, and now it has become completely slow on budget models. I think the development team will finally solve this problem.
Even those are still insanely slow. Tbh, it's not worth buying low end phones. Maybe budget phones that are getting into flagship territory@@manolakios
@@maximusproximus1532 a past friend of mine used to have a galaxy A12 and honestly, it was surprisingly good given the fact that it had 3gb of ram and probably some really low end SoC. But overall, i do agree its a wiser decision to buy flagship budget phones
Miss MIUI V5 a lot. Making quality smartphones at affordable prices, and this philosophy continues to be carried out today. This approach is successful and imitated by others, you don't need advertising but your true fans are always waiting for the latest product. Terimakasih MIUI & Xiaomi has been present in our lives. Your Fans since Redmi Note 1
In those days, there were no advertisements in every application, smart devices did not discriminate against you based on your region, and the servers were faster than competitors. Now why such praise? Support does not respond anywhere, neither in stores nor on the forum. In order to pass it under warranty, they interrogate you, the box, serial numbers, regional numbers... you're crazy
MIUI never die in my heart. ❤️ Used MIUI 7 to 11 when it was best in the market, Then moved to Samsung's One UI. Though one UI is minimalist and smooth but lacks a lots of features.😩 I loved MIUI as it offered more useful features than stock Android or any other UI. Those who could not afford Oxygen OS, MIUI was best for them. 😇
I'm using MIUI since V3, ported to my LG Optimus 2X.. It went head to head with Cyannogenmod back then. What I love about MIUI is the GUI, memory management, and also music player. I also using MIUI V5, ported to my Oppo Find 7a, and I love it. Even the battery bar can be shown as 1 single line on the top of the screen. And then Xiaomi phones released... The first Xiaomi phone I use was Mi 5, then I use Mi 8 Explorer, now I'm using the latest device from Xiaomi.. 14 Pro.. 😁
@@jeffr249 I don't remember the quality with MIUI, but I'm perfectly happy with the camera now. I have nothing to compare it to, but I'm surprised with the quality given how little I paid for the phone.
Xiaomi saying goodbye to MIUI and me probably saying goodbye to Xiaomi. I hope nobody gets this wrong but Xiaomi phones and MIUI is great. The phones are priced great. MIUI is both intuitive and innovative in so many ways but Xiaomi's lack of tech support has just gotten into me. I've always purchased their flagship because I believe in them and I want to show my support. But something just doesn't feel right anymore. I own a Xiaomi 11 and a Xiaomi 8 and 5 and the list goes on and they're all flagship and yet the tech support barely reaches two years. In fact it's been almost 6mo's since the last Xiaomi 11 update and it's not clear still if the flagship phone model is even going to get hyped HyperOS update. Not to compare but I've got a 2018 iPad9.7 that gets updated almost every month. I'm switching brands not gonna be an iOS based phone, not my thing. So I guess hello Pixel ☺️. Cheers to all Xiaomi Fans.
You're right, they need to work on their software updates as other companies promise security updates up to 5 years for even midrange level phones which is insane!..
same here, just trade in my Poco X5 5G to Samsung A72 because my office tech said "we can work with os or security update" if I use xiaomi phone. I love their products because it reasonable price and quality BUT they must do something about security and os update.
Go for it! Pixels are amazing. Not as bloated up as Xiaomi. Xiaomi is great imo, but I hate how boated it is and certain stuff just doesn't go very well. Certain ui elements suck and the ads are really annoying. I've bought a redmi 9i which had miui 12 on it, and it came with the global version. No superwallpapers n stuff TO THIS DATE. It came with miui 12 and Android 10, stayed with miui 12 and Android 10. I contacted support since some other countries recieved miui 12.5, but they never fixed the issue. A newer version of global is also released, but never got the update.
You think comparing budget phones with the brands that charge super premium is totally a smart move. If you can spend on Pixel you can spend on premium Xiaomi phones and they're perfectly fine
Bye bye miui os 😢 and welcome hyper os 🙂, miss miuios but love hyperos 😅 this feeling hard to know but thank you miui for staying with me for so many years ❤
MIUI 5 was the best! such a smooth and seamless experience! it all went downhill with MIUI 6 and its freezes, and I believe starting from MIUI 6 till MIUI 10 it was one UX, just with addition of recolors, skins and ads each year. Xiaomi really needs to make its new UX from scratch, just like VIVO did. But as we looking at the Hyper OS, they are not going to do that... P.S: still can't forgive Xiaomi for not giving the first MiPad at least single OS update P.P.S: and for Redmi Note 2! Dang, it looks like I've got Stockholm syndrome😅
I miss the old MIUI Gingerbread version, all themes modification rooting into all aspecs, including keyboard and small things etc 😢. But now, all you can do is changing the icon -__- 😢.
Start my journey with MIUI 7 and never look back The reason I bought Xiaomi phone is because MIUI. Already familiar with the customization and when I try to use other android skin, it just feel different. Some feature that I usually use or do with my Xiaomi phone sometimes doesn't available in other android skin. Keep improving MIUI aka hyperOS.
I've been with Xiaomi for 4 years now. I've been through MiUI 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and I did use quite a bit of my brother's MiUI 14. I love Xiaomi phones, waiting for HyperOS and I'm never going back to samsung. (Just please code it right since MiUI 12 was quite buggy, but I still enjoyed it, my friends didn't)
And 1:57 here I have never got any further update for Redmi Note 4... Btw I am still using this device as a casual user, running on Miui 11 smoothly. Redmi/Xiaomi never compromised for quality and Performance 🙏😊❤️.
This video remind me so many about the time I used Redmi note 4x. This is the first smart phone I bought with my partime-job salary, a budget phone has been with me throughout my university years, and up to now, I still keep and use it as a supplementary device. Can't wait to experience the new HyperOS
Miui 6 and 7 were the best and way ahead of their time. I had a Redmi Note 3 back in 2016 and that phone was not just a phone but a whole different experience in itself.
I started using MIUI in v8, now in 14, I fell in love with its simplicity & fluidity through the years... For me, the smoothest & lighting fast UI experience was MIUI 9... I am craving for that UI.
Te amo miui aunque se hablen pestes de tu capa de personalización para mí siempre fuiste el mejor Gracias por tantos momentos y fue hermoso ver esta gran transición a lo largo de los años sin duda eres mi favorito❤️
if they keep the same bootloader unlocking process the same , im all in for hyperos but if not, its gonna be a huge step down for xiaomi, bootloader unlocking is one of the main reasons i buy xiaomi
my truly legendary device i ever had from Xiaomi is Redmi Note 4, a device that actually one step ahead at that time if you release the limit using thermal and root stuff.. i have been use it from 2017 untill 2023, 6 years of services.. and now i bought my Redmi Note 12 with a lot of potential such as my old device, not willing to do root stuff yet bcs its still new and fresh + the brand new HyperOS makes UBL stuff more complicated than usual, idk should i say its great or nah..
MIUI will always be in our hearts. No, it’s not bad, it has a lot of innovative solutions and it’s used on budget xiaomi and poko phones that almost everyone can afford
Is there anyone talking about the difference between all three versions of MIUI?! How they separate global users from others by breaking their hearts adding new features to other versions but not the global?!! WE WANT THE BETTER!!
Feel so nostalgic seing the evolution, and i went thru all the miui except the hyperos. shifted to samsung oneui but I'd still vqq miss miui. But tryint to shift to iphone but may be i might shift to miui again. I missed lots of features miui provided
I remember (2011!) my HTC Desire whit MIUI on top... 🎉 ... works that phone much, much better if original phone ROM! What a wunderfull journey?¿!! ....hope HyperOS to continue that trend! ¶
I was a huge fan from 2015 but I had bad experience with 3 phones and good one with 2 😢 I left behind MIUI and Xiaomi because they have same product different quality, global Os and sh.y os😮 I've change to OnePlus 🙂 happy now!

I love the skeuomorphism style of the icons of the early MIU versions
Was buy Redmi Note 4X, Note 7 and now using Note 10 Pro, and im wait for Xiaomi 14 series to enjoy HyperOS over Miui, hope they fix most of issues from Miui
Xiaomi, thanks for receiving me the new Xiaomi HyperOS update with Android 14. It means a lot when my device started in MIUI Pad 13 until it went up to MIUI Pad 14 and the new update... Thanks Xiaomi 😄
Loved it when i was using redmi 3s prime and note 4 still remembet those times when i was waiting to buy it on flash sale on first sale good times and enjoyed the phone a lot redmi 3s prime on miui 7 😊
Why you'll removed animations from mid end devices. I have dimensity 700 with 6 gigs of rams still no animations meanwhile Phone with g95 are having animations
That's an interesting and fun journey. MIUI was great, but HyperOS might be even better, as I updated my phone to it yesterday. There's few bugs, but I assume they'll be fixed soon, or at least I hope so. I was always a Samsung fan, but Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco are a way better choice for a budget price. They always have something to offer, that other phones don't. I dislike that it'll get updates for 2 years only, but it is what it is.
Using miui from v5.. flash on xperia zr.. then buying the 1st phone officially launched in Malaysia which is Mi3.. now i'm rocking with Poco X6 Pro running hyperOS
I'm not glad about MIUI 13 because now i use POCO M5 and it has only has 1.2 GB of RAM remained. I can't use some apps for a long time because it starts lagging in some minutes and when i go to home screen, it just restarts. Can't even screenrecord videos because it goes away. Btw, when i just was typing this message, keyboard has gone three times. Well, i actually spent 'pretty much' money for it (around $180 according to dollars)
