I was just watching his video about pee-wee Herman's house. That was back in 2017 I believe. But at the beginning of the video he says how not many RU-vidrs are gonna be doing everyday vlogs... Do you folks realize this man has been putting in work if not everyday he puts out a video every other day. This dude is amazing.. He has to definitely be a top 3 RU-vidr... The GOAT in my opinion.
I just said that to my teens the other day about Madonna! She was really good in this movie, meh on the others. I also said the only movie Anne Heche was good in--6 Days 7 Nights.

It's amazing the way our pets can sense our feelings and things that are happening in their surroundings. I wonder how Jah felt coming home to only his bed and water? And knowing things were changing with his friends and family, enough to make him cry. That would make a good study. But knowing that Daddy is not leaving his side made him feel comfort and joy. He'll love his new home that is for sure, and hopefully his friends can come visit. I love that little guy ❤

Louise (Lou Erickson) Sauer lived about an hour away from me. She was invited to come to where the movie was being shot, but didn't have transportation to get there. After the movie came out, tour buses would stop in front of her house. She'd come out, get on the bus and talk about her baseball career. Before the movie, almost no one, including her family, had any idea of what she had accomplished. She was a very humble person who was very supportive of local baseball and softball teams, plus school teams. She used to pass out baseball cards with her picture to people. She died in 2016 at age 86 and her town greatly misses her. She said without "A League of Their Own" the women's baseball teams would have remained WW ll's best kept secret.
Wow! I used to (many years ago) live not too far from that old stadium. I knew the Babe was filmed there but Didn’t know “ a league of their own” was shot there as well. I love that movie. “There’s no Crying in baseball!” Thanks for the blog on that

Good 1.I like old ballparks too.30 yrs ago I went to Fenway park.I was amazed that Babe Ruth played there.Looking forward to the trip too.Jah is living the good life.I take my dogs when I travel too.And I like to take my time & check out the roadside attractions too.Be safe!
So many scenes from "A League of their Own" were brought back to memory with this Vlog! "There's no crying in Baseball!!" Classic! Regarding Jah, even Dogs know things that we only "seem" to know. They know when we are sad, upset, or sick. They have a "good bead" on things, sometimes more than humans. :-)

I can watch it every time cable puts it out there to watch. I also enjoyed Babe. Not as much as A League of Their Own though! That little tatted up abandoned house (?) was pretty neat. Goosebumps getting to see the inside of the stadium! The Amazon series for A League of Their Own filmed there a couple months ago. I head up to Pittsburgh next week for the players extras auditions!

I remember going to the old Crosley Field to see the Cincinnati Reds play. Then of course Riverfront then the Great American Ball Park. I think that will be my last one as a Reds fan. Age getting me. I loved the Big Red Machine as so many did. We’d just out score any team to win. Loved Joe Nuxall, Al Michael’s and of course Marty Brennaman. My grandparents were huge fans. On school nights if I spent the night on a late west coast game, I’d strain to listen to my papaw’s radio that was sure to turn off the moment the game ended. He listened till the end. Sometimes close to 2 am.

Thanks for this. Very timely for me as I just shared a photo of the minor league Park my Dad played in on my FB from a memory page and appreciated this trip inside another. We used play on it at his practices-but his has been torn down for years.
Awww Jahster is going to love having his own yard to play in. If you stop in Springfield Mo where I live there’s a couple of Bonnie and Clyde hotspots, a Wild Bill Hickok shootout spot, and some pretty infamous crime scenes...and it’s the birthplace of Route 66 and there’s a restored motel on rte66 where Elvis Presley stayed😃

I still remember when u came to my town to see historic bosse field i remember being a kid sitting in garvin park right next to where they were filming and the lady singing the national anthem probably close to 50 times lol i guess they had alot of takes of that scene..i wanted to be an extra but did not have any period correct looking clothes that was the deal you could be an extra but had to provide your own clothes....

Hey jordan! The baseball field they used in the first part of a league of their own is in a community called saint phillip, indiana which is technically part of a larger town called mt. Vernon indiana. I grew up a few miles from there. Google saint phillip baseball mt vernon, indiana and it should come up.
