I work production security and was working on another show at this studio and was watching this couple rehearsing dancing for most of the day and when they left they crossed right passed me to their cars. It was Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. The show I was working on was using two soundstages and something called La La Land was using the rest of the entire facility. I had been watching their dance rehearsal all day and nobody had any idea what La La Land was
Rewatched the movie to fully get all the details…fantastic!!! Loved the story about Emma Watson and Ryan Gosling being in Beauty and the Beast how funny how things work out, I love details like that and how luckily it all works out for the best!!! Emma Stone is a stellar actress 🤩 love ALL her films.
So Cal adventures are my personal favorite even though I enjoy all the videos Adam does.Have never seen anyone who is as detailed in movie scenes as Adam.He must have a photographic memory.Very impressive.
👏👏👏La La Land is the ultimate love letter to all that is Los Angeles! Bravo, great job you guys! I'm amazed by how much ground y'all were able to cover in one day. La La Land was my pick for Best Picture that year, it was gut-wrenching when they won and lost, lol--but at least Emma Stone won Best Actress. :) It always amazes me the pull that certain films can have on our heartstrings. The way this film pulled Woo to L.A.? I totally get it. I'm an Angeleno girl forever but I have to admit Nora Ephron and Woody Allen's work etc have me convinced that I must absolutely live in the heart of NYC at least once in my lifetime. 🥰 Gosh, I was rooting that you'd all get to the 105 to the 110 fwy overpass scene from the intro, darn! haha. Hopefully next time!
I have never seen La La Land ... but I quite enjoyed this tour of the area for the filming locations as always a joy watching you & Daphne giving the deets on the streets... I thank you
I've never seen this movie before. But, like many times before with your location videos of movies that I haven't seen, I'll be checking this one out. Thank you Daphne for being so patient and allowing him to spend so much time showing us thus. I appreciate both of you.
Great research I imagine you spent months printing out all those shots! Yeah I remember how cold it was last January here in SoCal I’m amazed Daphne stuck it out as long as she did not exactly bundled up 😂
HEY ATW...WHEN YOU ARE IN CALIFORNIA TO DOCUMENT A MOVIE filming location, it's always awesome because most of the time you team up with Daphne. There's just something about you two and HOLLYWOOD! Like a detective out of the 30's and the movie starlet working on a case! Thanks for today's episode.
I completely understand why you guys didn't stop at the filming spot for the big freeway intro dance scene! The traffic at that location can get horrific, just like in the movie. Imagine the traffic nightmare the filming caused by shutting down the 110/105 intersection! But in the end, it was worth it. I loved La La Land!
Been great seeing your recent days across in LA, even if it's just to see what you're wearing for the weather. Taking the family across in just over a week to check out a few BTTF locations, Laurel & Hardy sites, plus WB, Universal, & Disney. Going to be a busy, but hopefully fun time. All the best from a cold corner of northern England 🙂🇬🇧👍
No way!! I just watched La La Land last night for the first time! It was a masterpiece! Very special!! After I watched it I was looking up filming locations but nobody had a real good video. So crazy you were on the case the same day I watched it. Magic!!
Thank you PRO, for bringing all of this to the public. Most people ,outside of finance, would pay no attention to much of this but the public that loves Disney, yet hates their actions as of late, needs to pay attention. Let’s hope that Peltz is successful in rescuing Disney from itself!
Thank you Adam & Daphne! Always love your trips around LA and especially loved that you covered one of my fave movies and its locations. Hope you had the cheesy garlic bread at The Smoke House. It's one of my favorite spots to take visitors, especially those who love La La Land like me. I'll have to do a staycation at the Hilton next time visitors come to town. I'm a fan of The Garland on Vineland where Beverly Garland family owns it. She was the stepmother, Barbara, on My Three Sons. They have a trolley that takes you to Universal Studios from the hotel as well. Appreciate all the updates on LLL filming locations. :)
Beautiful blue sky, it makes me dream, for here, in my French town, it is cold and grey ! A pleasure to see your interesting video and to see Daphné, so cute, nice and optimistic, good to keep a child s heart and be happy about the day which comes along. A big hello to you both
And you did WB Tour, too...where Seb and Mia walked through the backlot...coffee shop...walking by sound stages...also surprised you didn’t mentioned that Mia’s husband was the actor that played “Shades” in “That Thing You Do” 😂
Sitting here enjoying this great vlog before I start work.Very impressed you really did your homework on this one.Valintines day is just round the corner this this is a good date movie. From Universal Jamie.
Loved this, so great to see movie locations - not seen the film but now it's a must. I thought Adam should have taken his jacket/hoodie off to keep you warm though 🤔 TFS
I have made a few negative comments in the past towards you adam, and I want to say sorry, it has came from a place of envy, you are doing well with what you do, and me being an idiot, I have been negative. You have found a calling in the market of travel and reviews, and are doing amazing, keep going mate and smash it up x
That's another movie I haven't seen...yes I know I'm an uncultured Philistine...but I also can't believe that much time has passed already. Glad you're finding so much to explore movie wise on this trip!
Thanks Adam - I saw this movie at the cinema and it’s on my Netflix list to watch it again. I now may do that this weekend! This is also the first video I have watched with Daphne featuring as well - she is so sweet. 💙
The iconic clipboard makes its return! Your friend needs to make an action figure of you and the clipboard. Never seen this movie, but your video has piqued my interest in watching it.
Yeah, that mural was just for the movie. I looked back at the google street view and you can see it changed from one shade of brown to another before and after. They should have kept it!
Great video brother… this peir is actually new the old wood pier burned down a while back me and the homies used to go there and fish for sharks all night… infront of those bars and clubs and restaurants used to be a street and everyone would Cruze through there in the 90s at 2am that area would flood over ontoo the beach and party n go skinny dipping all drunk we used to watch them from the pier when fishing lol anyways there used to be a tackle slash sandwhich shop there at the end of the pier back then before it burned
Daphne seems like fun. I like her positive upbeat attitude. Adam, have you seen Anna and the Apocalypse? It’s a zombie musical. If you enjoy musicals, it just might be up your alley. I think it’s currently streaming on Shudder.
I love Daphne!!! In my mind I've created a whole love story for y'all. I love love so much and it makes my heart happy when people are in love. I'm projecting. I know this. But still.....
I don't know the movie La-La Land at all, I will have to check it out. Great video Adam, you put in so much work on these types of videos and it shows!
Omg Daphne you rock and was such a trooper ! IDK if I could have hung in there for that long lol. But all in all it was a amazing vlog ! I hope you got a awesome foot massage js !!!!
