Instagram- AdamTheWooATW The price of this tour was $359 per person but changes depending on day of week and time of the year . It also includes free valet parking which I did not utilize . I also do not accept comps from anywhere I go or get on media lists . Really enjoyed this day ! If universal Hollywood ever sold a full day on the backlot I’d pay twice this price to stay back there all day , just saying
Been following you since the van days, you’ve come a long way but stayed true to yourself. Great video! Neat to see the current state of the backlot. Thanks Adam!
Totally agree. I've also been following for years upon years, and I really respect how Adam has followed his heart and stayed true. The risks have paid off. Thanks Adam! You have a great talent for translating the wonder you see in the world. 👏🌞
Loved this. I've been following your journey since 2014 and you have never sold out like many high subbed RU-vidrs. Always staying true to yourself and delivering damn good content. Thanks Adam, your hard work is really appreciated. Peace from the UK ✌
Thanks so much for showing 'The Court of Miracles", and I'm with you on the special feeling that you got while standing there. I got into the film industry as a special effects makeup artist because of all of those old films that started it all.
Adam loving the west coast Burbank vlogs, and kudos on a great Universal Studios VIP experience which was a whole new look at this theme park! Being that you’re in the area don’t forget Bob’s Big Boy before you head out town! Cheers!
You are unique Adam. Love the content, your straight talking and your sense of humour. Brings back so many memories of my family trips to all the parks. Sad the tour seems to have removed Jaws, Red Sea and the collapsing bridge Thank you for all you do from Chris in the UK.
This was a great tour. I took a VIP tour of Paramount when I visited California four years ago. It was a great experience. Thank you for showing us around! I love this movie history
I love how Adam is early to any scheduled event he goes to. He's not gonna miss it. Stadium opens 90 minutes before first pitch, he's there 2 hrs before first pitch. Not missing anything. Lol! Keep it up Adam. Love the enthusiasm.
I'm not a Southern California guy (I lived off base in San Diego for 8-ish years but that tour looks like it was an awesome experience! Great video as always Adam. That looks like so much fun.
Others are doing this type video these days but yours stood out, Adam. As a huge fan of classic movies and Universal Studios, it was great how you showed us the COMPLETE experience. I do appreciate that. I am def going to be doing the VIP Tour
In 1985 my family went to Universal Studios Hollywood and took the backlot tour as well. When I saw this video it reminded me of our time at the theme park. Thank you for bringing back some good memories for me. Enjoy your stay in California and safe travel home to Celebration, Florida.
I agree with you Adam about just spending all the time allotted to the back lot. I too love movie history and would love to do a back lot only tour! Loving your vlogs!
Just having a conversation with Peter Kenneth the Potter collector and now you're going back to Universal I can't wait to get my AP in October what a place thank you for showing this!
Excellent, interesting and enjoyable video. Your knowledge and attention to details are excellent. Daphne's exuberance is contagious and completes the team. Thank you.
What a great video Adam! I was lucky enough to do the VIP Tour on 20th April, we had the perfect BTTF fan experience! We were able to walk around the Hill Valley Square, went up to look inside the Clock Tower thanks to our fab guide and met Doc Brown at the buffet lunch! An truly amazing day!!
Love the content Adam! Keep up the consistent quality work. Grateful for your awesome vids and incredible narration. Really feel like we are riding along with you every step of the way. Amazing work this year. Can’t wait to see more!
I haven’t been to Universal City, CA since 1986. It’s changed so much!!! Universal Studios Escape was my first job I had while attending UCF back in 1999. I know of a few fires on the Universal backlot. One thing I am grateful for was being able to see the Courthouse Square in 1986 before 3 additional fires in that section forced remodeling. It was Hill Valley as portrayed in the movie. That was the best part in the park… this was also before the BTTF ride was a thing. King Kong was scary, the collapsing bridge, and the ice tunnel was EPIC!!! I still remember the tram tour guide and what he said to us about the ice tunnel. We went into a couple of soundstages too!! They were filming Harry and the Hendersons at that time and Harry came out on stage and scared this kid who was brought up on stage to scream into the microphone at the Foley studio. They showed how they filmed weightless scenes from the movie that was out called Space Camp and how they filmed the flying scenes in ET. They had the Knight Rider car KITT on a island at the front of the park and kids would wait to sit in it and ask it questions. All those kids kept asking it the same question… how fast do you go? I had to ask it a question too … fYI, he’s not related to Herbie... I just had to make sure it wasn’t a recording.
Ha, when I was a kid we went to Universal Studios and they brought me up as the kid who screams into the microphone at the Harry and the Hendersons stage. My family still talks about it. Harry didn't come out and scare me though.
I got my Adam The Woo Stickers Two days ago! Thanks so much Adam, I love them! Love all the adventures you have gone on through out the years. Thanks for all your videos!
Bro I made a promise to myself to recover from this stupid stroke and meet u and Justin from random land I watch both of u videos and all the la stops I gotta do now keep it up man enjoying it!
Thanks for the video Adam! I used to be a VIP tour guide at Disneyland for several years. The guides are allowed to ride the attractions unless the tour party size is a perfect size for seating at an attraction (like a group of 6 for Racers), the guide does not want to ride or it makes them ill/motion sickness, guide needs a snack or bathroom break, or we are holding guest personal items (like at Splash Mountain). When I first started, we weren’t allowed to ride Grizzly River Run (the only restriction) but they eventually lifted that restriction (I still didn’t go on it! Lol wet dress shoes are no fun)
My cousin used to be a v.p at universal, would visit him once in awhile ,the tours of the sets, backlots, was so cool. Very unique experience and so much fun.!! Wish he didn't retire.. they have a private back entrance to the theme park from the studio side..
How awesome! I was really impressed with the "light" breakfast and lunch. It was great that you were VIP on riding the rides and in the backlot. My heart lies on the backlot as well. I would love to go and wander around the backlot all day. I was there when they were filming some of Jurassic Park and that was so much fun. I miss the parting of the red sea as well.
Man Adam, your everywhere! Your content keeps getting better and better. You definitely are my favorite RU-vidr !!! Thanks for all the hard work you do filming to bring us these awesome videos. Bless you Adam.🙂👍🙏✌️❤️
Very Important Persons. 👍SO.MUCH.FUN!!! 😆Daphne and Lucille Ball 😍VIP is the way to go for sure. Thank you Adam for another entertaining and informative adventure❤
Adam Thank You for bringing this VIP Tour. What a Wonderful Day. OOO LUCY She sounded like her. You keep Streaming/Vlogging we will be watching. What a Great Experience.
Adam love your videos. I haven't been to Universal Studios since I was a teenager. Grew up in Orange County in Anaheim. 46 now and live in New Mexico. While watching you walk the back lot I was going to ask you after the video if they still had the cabin from The Great Outdoors. When you panned over and I saw it I literally said out loud "It's still there." I remember it being at the end of the studio tour. That movie is one of my all time favorites. Thank you for letting us all live vicariously in your life and taking us all over on your road trips. Stay safe!
Oh wow! That’s awesome! Now I regret not getting the VIP tour the last time I went. I thought about it long & hard that time but changed my mind the last minute. I’ll surely do it the next time I go back. Thanks for the video!
I had the good fortune to work on a commercial shoot that used the Universal Hollywood backlot as its setting and was able to roam around the streets. I went into the clocktower building, and spoiler alert - it's a hollow prop building with nothing much aside from visible beams and the like beyond the facade just like all of the other buildings around it. Very experience you had, thanks for sharing, Adam.
HEY ATW...SORRY I'M LATE AGAIN! NOT FEELING WELL AFTER ONCOLOGY VISIT TODAY. Today's episode was packed SO FULL of content, I've had to watch it 5 times and I still need to see it again!! Thank you for documenting this excursion into the bowels of Universal Studios Hollywood! Great job. I learned so much and enjoyed this edisode greatly! Top 10
This looked like a great experience! Hopefully one day I can do this too! Cool that you saw a glimpse of the back lot of the Clock Tower and some streets from BTTF!
Oh no, the parting of the Red Sea is gone? I used to love that as a kid. Awesome you got to see and take video of the Back to the Future lot! I've seen some other vloggers in SoCal doing the VIP tour and none were able to go there
I checked there was a Backlot fire on June 2, 2021 , However, there was a fire 13 years ago that destroyed the King Kong encounter on the tour. Thank you both for sharing 🧡🌺
Adam, I really enjoy all of your videos, I really want to visit the US one day, its been a dream of mine since I was small and thanks to you I get to see all these wonderful places almost as if I was really there myself! Its amazing, you are so good at what you do! Thankyou
Hi Adam. Thank you for taking us Woozies on the V.I.P. Tour. Yesterday with Peter of Ordinary Adventures and Today with You and Daphine. I like seeing you and Peter's point of view of the V.IP. Tour. Thank you for all the Fun places you go to . On to the next Adventure.
So-cal always intriguing.Really enjoyed this ..last time at Universal was when the Bionic Man was still happening.love Hollywood history.Lived off Hollywood Blvd. way back in 1969 .
That was cool!! Never knew about the VIP tour and what you can do on it. Great info and more than likely worth it for a first timer to get the full experience. I'm surprised they didn't walk you to the courtyard where iconic movies were filmed, but like you said maybe on another tour. Like you, I would want a full tour of just the backlot area without the rides. I'm guessing if you wanted to explore the rest of the park that wasn't included in the tour you did that before starting the VIP experience.
Hi Adam I’ve got to say a big thank you because I am in the UK and disabled so I would be no chance of me ever seen what you have showers on the video today so A very very big thank you and stay safe
Regarding Lucy at your lunch: in 1970s, Universal had "celebrity for the day" who wandered around the commisary where people waiting for studio tour were eating. According to Jerry Green's USH history book, it included Don Knotts the mayor of Universal City at the time.
