I wrote my future wife a letter when I was 16. It wasn't as poetic, but it was a pledge to save myself for her physically. 10 years later I married and successfully fulfilled my pledge.

I have no idea who this is or how I came across this video but this is hands-down possibly one of the most beautiful things I've ever watched 🖤 congratulations on a fairytale wedding to a beautiful couple and best of wishes to a lifetime full of love 🖤

Watching these actually makes me feel better about my breakup. I have felt so much like we are meant to be together, but we both need time a part to grow as individuals. This gives me hope that one day, if I’m patient, God will lead me to the right guy that will love me unconditionally. 💕

When I was 14, I didn't write a letter - I prayed, " I prayed that if we can't be together back then, maybe in the future. And if god will allows it can we make it this time" and I think God have answered my prayers. Things just takes time -beautiful things does when I thought God wasn't listening he does and his making it more than what we could have ever imagined. 💕 years had gone fast we're 22 at the present time look how god made our paths cross again I'm beyond thankful. I like him still. I hope this is the right time for us and for each other. ☺️ Trust God's will- God is amazing in every way. 😍

So I just wrote a letter to my future husband whilst listening to 'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perri. Lol it took me ages and I cried like 5 times throughout but I'm leaving this here to send my letter out to the universe xD aka my version of sending a message into a bottle out into the ocean cos i'm quarantined atm ---------------- Dear my future husband, I don’t know who you are, where you are or what you’re doing. I know that you’re taller than me (I’d hope since I’m only 5ft 1 haha), more handsome than I could ever imagine and you’re my best friend, training partner, lover, my man as well as my teddy bear haha. I remember thinking several times throughout my life thinking ‘I wonder what my future partner is doing right now’ and if you’re reading this letter it’s because that wondering has come to an end and I have met you. All along I believed I would find you. I have met you because I love myself so deeply now that being with you is not out of a necessity to be loved by someone else, it’s a want. I want to share all of my love with you. I’ve been waiting my whole life for a divine counterpart like you to open my heart to, with someone that I trust deeply who can handle my emotions with care and look after me. Meeting you has changed my life. Truly. You’re my best friend. You make me laugh everyday. If anyone compliments my abs it’s because you have me in stitches all the time, not because I do sit ups everyday haha. My MMA coach can thank you for my core strength. I never regret a minute spent with you. If anything my only greedy regret is that we didn’t meet sooner so we could have more jokes together xD You’re my lover. I never knew how much I believe in love until I met you. Life was before you and after you. I can’t express how much you have opened my heart to love. Not only loving you and loving myself, but also loving others, loving the world, loving everything and every moment. You make me so mushy inside and feel like a true romantic. I love all of our slow dances together. Dancing with you takes me to another dimension. I feel so connected and intertwined when I stare deep into your dreamy eyes when we waltz together. We have a connection beyond words. I know for our wedding we will perform a few dances that we’ve learned over the years. I can’t wait to perform and express our love in front of everyone. You’re my man, my protector. I love how protective you are of me. I love how you snuggle me into your sexy, muscular arms. How you wake me up with a cuddle, showering me with kisses and making me a cup of tea. How you make me feel safe enough to express my femininity and my sexuality. How you make me feel like a woman. How you worship my body like a Goddess and respect me like a Queen. For all of the times in the past where I’ve been sexually harassed, been in a toxic/abusive relationship or unappreciated by men, it made me appreciate someone like you even more. I didn’t know a man like you could even exist. I’ve never felt like this before. I’ve always had to be so tough, independent and self-reliant but you’re someone I can lean on in the toughest, darkest moments. You’re someone who I can walk down the street with and wear whatever I want because I feel safe and don’t feel vulnerable to being harassed. You’re always there if I need a shoulder to cry on, if I need help with making an important life decision or if I want to punch something you will hold pads for me haha. If I needed help at any time, in the middle of the night, I’d know you’d drop everything just to come and help me out. And for your selfless love, I can’t thank you enough. I love you. Every fight I train for, you’re always there for me. You’re there at my training camps, you’re there to emotionally support me, you’re there when I need someone to corner me in a jiu jitsu competition. I don’t even have to ask for you to support me, you were there through thick and thin without hesitation and I wouldn’t be able to be a UFC champion if it wasn’t for you. You believe in me more than I do a lot of the time and that’s what I love about you. When times get tough and I want to give up you push me the extra mile because you know I have it in me. You see the light in me, just as how I see the light in you. We push each other to exponentially grow into the untapped potentials dormant within us. You’re my inspiration. You’re my soulmate. Your soul ignites a spark within my soul that keeps on expanding and expanding… until infinity. Not a day goes by where I’m bored with you. You light up my world. I’ve learned so much from you… everyday you surprise me. Before I met you, I was inspired to become a better person each day. Now that I’ve met you, I’ve realised that you were the missing puzzle piece to help me become a better person each day. It’s like you’ve given me an extra power that’s unlocked the potential I already had inside me all along… like I’ve unlocked the next level of being or living… in a video game xD You’ve taught me that being interdependent is way more powerful than being independent. Together we can do more, grow more, learn more. You also inspire me to get better at jiu jitsu so I can tap you haha :P You’re my teacher. You’ve taught me how to open up to people and to be more outgoing and trusting of others. You’ve taught me MMA moves and that men can do middle splits :o haha. You’ve taught me patience. How to see in the long run past my immediate impulses. You’ve taught me the value of discipline and hard work and have helped me to put my dreams into action. More importantly, you’ve taught me how to love. That there is love. Unconditional love. That loving someone doesn’t need a reason. And you’ve shown me that. I could find a million reasons to hate you. Like the way you never let me tap you out in jiu jitsu or the way you’re just so stubborn and annoying at times. But loving someone doesn’t need to have reason. Love isn't a list of pros and cons. It doesn't work like that. When you feel, you feel. When you love, you love. You’ve reminded me to unconditionally love myself despite my flaws, imperfections I have. So whilst this letter I just wrote explains all of the reasons why I love you, it’s more logical than feelings. You could say it’s more of an expression of love, a letter to explain why you deserve my love and why I chose you. Because regardless of what you do, who you are, where you’re from I’d still love you. To the moon and back. Through the highs and lows, I’ll be right by your side. Forever. Always. When you want to keep your eyes wide open because you are watching a piece of art - not just a wedding video - and then someone comes out and cuts a thousand onions all at once... Oh man... this was just beautiful! Stellar cinematography and the characters of this couple and their history made it perfect!

Love the edit and flow of this clip bud. You mixed so many speeches, moments, locations (in door lighting and outdoor) so so well to tell just a great story of the couple. Hell, it would mean the world to them but to a stranger you feel like you know both of them and their families so much better after watching it. Well well done. The only thing I did notice that some of the skin tones were shifting to a red hue during some of the indoor scenes vs the outdoor scenes.
