Congratulations on your A grade Leah!! Good luck for your medicine applications next year. Your work in hospitals will be invaluable and so a second gap year hopefully will pay off big time!
@@LeahRebecca I got an A* in further maths tbis summer, A* in computer science in autumn and have A*AA left over from summer 2020. I only needed an A and had my unconditional insurance at the same university so this day wasn't too important for me. Just glad I got to prove my teachers who laughed at me wrong🤣.
@@maz8429 Yes you can becajs eof the teacher grades. They now let people sit actual exams in autumn. Not sure if they will do this in 2022 but they're doing it in 2021 just like they did in 2020.
You’ve been messed around so much these last couple years but by the time you get round to doing medicine next year it’s gonna be completely worth it! I got my results this year and got accepted into medicine and I know that if I’d missed the grades I’d keep trying until I got in cuz there’s no point doing a degree you don’t really want to do. Congratulations on your results getting an A in maths is incredible i could never do it. Good luck for next year 🥳
honestly leah you have done incredible! especially given the circumstances and that terrible exam centre!! this next gap yah is going to be the one! all that travelling and working is going to really put you in an amazing place for uni!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hello again, I’m glad you are happy with your maths grade after many months of hard work, I would love to see a video on autumn resits as I think you are most qualified with such an experience you’ve had !
There’s an exam centre in London called AEC Tutors. I’m not kidding they are amazing! They really helped throughout. I had constant updates and the fees were not too expensive and even through my circumstances they were able to grade me. They were so professional and went above and beyond. I really do recommend them. I’m sorry you had to go through that with your centre, that was outrageous! Regardless proud of you!
first of all, a massive congrats on your amazing maths grade! i’m so glad all your hard work has paid off. and nothing says resilience and perseverance like you not giving up after all the messed up, unfair things you’ve had to deal with. you’ll make an amazing doctor one day, i just know it 💗💗 i’m rooting for you, you can do this!
SMH that exam centre really messed up. Congratulations on your Maths. I am in the EXACT same situation as you like to the T I am wary that Med school won’t accept me cos I have done as this will be the third sitting 😭🥲
Hiya, so I'm in a sticky situation 😵 I did bad in my ALevels and resits in October 2021. Im now looking to re sit my exams. I want to do medicine btw. What's the best way you would recommend re sitting the a level exams. I saw the prices online and they were so expensive to re sit like 3000 pounds for biology. How much did you pay for yours and how did you apply to re sit. My school said no to me re sitting sadly. Also, with regards to predicted grades. Who gave you your predicted grades to UCAS and which grades did they use. Do they give your most recent exam grades because if so my predicted grades will be really bad because in my re sits in 2021 I got C D E in English Biology and Chemistry and the predicted grades for these are no match for medicine. I could really use some help because I'm really stressed. Thank you.
For me to be able to help you, you will need to provide me with your registration details that's your test date, program and center (school) with that, I will be able to get your exact questions and answers before your test date and send to you so you can review and master them before test date.
Oh dammm, that exam centre messed up big time, sounds like the centre did not follow the centre policy correctly. Also their lack of professionalism and lack of competence in doing the basics such as actually communicating with clients suggests to me, they really do need a proper revamp of their staffing & management, sounds like the current staff are past their expiry date... In all seriousness, tho if you do want to complain about then, I think you can do (not too sure how, but if u threaten them by saying you are in touch with the JCQ) then they usually get scared lol
“thank you for this video! Really enjoyed it! I’m sure you will like our video, too, about the alevels, how to get top grades and why so many people got A*s this year:
@@LeahRebecca 490 omg😭😭the problem is eduqas biology is 3 papers and the last paper is 6 topics. We only learnt 1 in school, so I'm basically self teaching a WHOLE paper? And another 4 topics we didn't cover in paper 2😭😭😭 if I was revising content already taught I would be more confident but I literally will be learning 10 topics from scratch whilst working part time lol. It's impossible tbh so summer exams it is I think. Are you going to do autumn this year or summer 2022?
@@LeahRebecca lockdown was sooo rough🤡🤡 we just missed so much time so by the time the government said we don't have to finish all te content they didn't bother trying to catch up anymore. So topics like homeostasis, immunology, the nervous system. I know nothing! At all. Haven't covered it. I'm going to get a tutor, find a centre and resit next year, my only issue is who is gonna process my UCAS application 😭
@@zoeschoolstuff6919 aww we didn’t learn a few chem and bio topics last year and I watched soo many yt vids to understand them you can do it! dw about your application your form tutor can still do it!!
Hi this is very random. I took the IB exams but how many times can you resit your exams? I*ve been watching your journey since last year and I'm also retaking my subjects but I feel like I may have to retake them again.
I picked a level bio for my options and also psychology I also picked buisness all a level do you know any good courses for me to do in university with these a levels? Do you know maybe an easier a level that I could change or change my alevels to better linked ones thanks.
