People do, but its the old age saying of "it's not what you know, it's who you know". Skepta has connections. If he didn't he'd be in the long line of other struggling artists.

Someone can work a million hours on painting. Obviously Skepta has a background in being creative. He has tuned that skill and natural talent to perfection in music. And through that confidence he was able to be just as creative in this painting. I think it's more beautiful than a vast majority of the work I have seen "professional painters" make.

@@iffysd9864 yes because Carribeans a lot not all have roots from africa do they not have clear African features, you go to Jamaica or any carribean country you can find blackity black to white, stop the nonsense, there are phenotypes for a reason, and not everyone in africa looks alike, skepta does not look like Michael blackson but they’re both of west African origin, you can find many Michael blackson looking Africans throughout west Africa and many skepta looking throughout Africa, the carribeans to the Americas. Michael blackson clearly has the stereotypical West african look so therefore you’d be hard pressed to find one outside of africa due to all the mixing. You’re the unintelligent one here bud 😂
