Nice one Capricorny... 😁 Been a long time since I set a fire... (Old work we'd burn the trees that would come down through the winter. Could have a fire going for months)
Hey Capricorny, i said I would check out your post, i immediately felt a sense of peace just watching the flames. I thought yes I suppose it is that time for some people in other places to clean up the broken twigs that litter the garden. While I lived in Tasmania and the northern territory of Australia, it was part of the seasonal activities to gather the sticks and leaf litter, to reduce the risks of unexpected fires 🔥 through lightning strikes and other dynamics that may place your home in the pathway of a wild fire 🔥. I read a weather report giving details of major shift towards unusually hotter weather for the coming spring. Well it's almost spring so as i said to Maureen, we should get prepared for a dry summer and start out plantings earlier this year. I've already started the germination programme, im a month early. Now you know I am more of a homestead type, so I have been observing the weather over winter and the rainfall is way down on the previous years, it was an indicator for me to get underway earlier this season and im grateful for having the sense to be on top of my game to meet these new challenges head on. I have been waiting for the hayshed to get emptied so i can gather the waste for mulching during the drier period. Thank-you CC i hope i can inspire others to get amongst it, and get ahead of their game as well. Have a wonderful day my friend. 🤗 🤗 From Mau and I
