Today: 300s speedrun lvl created by Satan himself beats Ryu by demolishing him mentally and physically.

I come back every few months to this video. That 300sec run is just the most insane thing

As soon as I saw Ferpy I knew Ryu stood no chance. Also If I had a choice between you attempting the Ferpy level and the 300s speedrun, i'd definitely choose the Ferpy speedrun.

Dang. Don't see Ryu pushed to the limits of his patience that often. That level wore him down. I do love how he has such a good attitude about it, regardless. I admire that a lot.

Mario is one of the only games that can get away with shitty hitboxes without too much backlash from the playerbase, only because sometimes it works in the player's advantage when Mario's head goes through fireballs XD

The further you got into that 300 second speedrun, even my heart sank when you had to start over, lol

You ever go back for that speed run? I felt involved in that one!!! I was involuntary clenching on some of those jumps.

That 300 second speedrun level is the perfect example of why checkpoints are so important to a lot of good levels (barring short ones of course). It seems like a lot of the individual challenges are not too unfair on their own, but they become unfair when you have to restart the entire level every time. A lot of them seem like mini speedruns with the P switches and all, so the level wouldn't lose very much by axing the 300 second speedrun part of it, in order to put some checkpoints in there.

22:11 You know you wanted to say it... the levels today are on a whole other level :) I really liked the 300s speedrun with its variety of set-ups and crossing paths. It really needs checkpoints though because of those kaizo sections.

Honestly from a level design perspective that 300s speed run is seriously awesome in my opinion. Although I would never even try to play it lol
