I have a Chinese t70 turbo. its 57mm t3 with a .82 a/r hot side and a 2.5 vband out. I set distributor just a hair retarded behind the middle of the adjustment. use turbo model spark plugs cause they are 1 step colder. 91 octane fuel. im using an adjustable fuel pressure regulator set at 25psi fuel pressure and 440cc injectors with a 8:1 fmu. timing is set a little behind the middle of the factory distributors adjustment point
Im probably going to do something similar with a 1988 non turbo supra. Im just wondering what blow off valve are you using? And what intercooler are you using (if you have one)?
at first I was running it all on stock engine and then when it came time to do the head gasket I did a full build because the block needed torn down to be decked. now its eagle rods, cp pistons, and full arp hardware with hks 1mm gasket. stock afm is still being used but as a blow through

custom made so I could run ac and not have to relocate alternator. its stock runners welded to a custom sheet aluminum plenum. stock gte throttle body.
So mine was rolling the tires off in 2nd until the headgasket blew while I had it parked lol, timed for a headgasket I guess. Id really like to leave the intake manifold on haha
