You either believe that Jesus paid your sin debt in full or you don't. How you live has absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. That's a service issue. Salvation is absolutely free and not conditional upon service to God. There is no gospel without OSAS. Free grace is the only true gospel.
"You're healed, go and sin no more" or Matthew 12:43-45 What do these passages imply? The Holy Bible teaches us that the road to our Lord is thorny and narrow, that we must keep trying our best to be Christlike because if we just confess Him with words and without deeds, that is a empty and fruitless faith. Look at the history of how our Father died for our sins, how the lives of the Apostles and the martyrs ended. However His grace and love is infinite and also His infinite justice is fully satisfied with the ultimate sacrifice of Himself to the cross for the world so a creature of humble and limited wisdom like me cannot say to understand the ultimate mercy of my Heavenly Father completely, but I do believe that every good thought, deed and every step on the narrow path brings us and those around us closer to Him. Even a single light in the dark can lead many to salvation and not astray. In opposition if we just please the world and sin aplenty how is that going to work for us or those around us? Easy, look at the world now. You cannot serve two masters, you'll love one more than the other. That is why it is written that those who love their lives will lose them, but those who love God and lose their life for Him will have an everlasting life. John 12:25 Steel is made from iron by lots of fire and pressure, life as an analogy isn't supposed to be easy and just plain sailing but it is also said in Matthew 11:28-30 that the burden is not heavy. The devil has already lost the war on the Holy Cross but until the end days he and his army have authority and permission to fool us, to tempt, create illusions and accuse us ignoramuses rightfully so that the wheat can be separated from the chaff(the good from the bad). The idea of satanism today is to persuade you that you're all gods, so that the creation will not know the Creator and His Will so it can align with It by free choice. If our Creator hasn't given us free will how can there be love? Can a program or robot unconditionally love you if it doesn't have free will to choose? So in conclusion we do most bad things to ourselves walking the wrong path, forgetting that the price for this test of a life is everlasting life with our Father in heaven where no one is in pain, thirsty, hungry, sad or lacking anything good, living in eternal bliss and joy. Compare infinity to this speck of dust in time that we call years of life on Earth and maybe we'll get a better understanding of what's at stake. I used to believe in this doctrine as well. No Christian believed in it until John Calvin taught it in the 16th century. Were all Christians prior to then wrong? This also is true about many other protestant doctrines. This includes baptism, communion, and iconography. I implore you to look into church history and find out what those early Christians believed and compare to it what the various Christian denominations believe today. @@kevinr9502 Nope. There has always been a remnant of people who believed on Christ alone for salvation down through the centuries they were persecuted by the Roman Catholic Church. These people had absolutely nothing to do with the so called Protestant Reformation.
@@kevinr9502 reformed (protestantism) Christianity does alot in new age perception, self-explainatory philosophy and contradict the same scripture they use theirselves in their warfare against the Church.. litteraly. Reforming is per definition protesting the Word. The first reformer was Roman and there the trend was set. Sadly I see some protestants trying to protest the one Universal/Catholic Church that didn't reform and that Church is Orthodox.
