A Little Spooky & Adventurous Ferry Trip in Japan | Niigata to Akita 

I am just a middle income man from India. I never even dream of visiting Japan with my income.. But I always feel that it is one of the most beautiful and interesting nation in this world. Thanks to you Sir, for providing me with the opportunity to visit the land of the rising sun through your lense.

That chicken breast ...almost killed me! That little package flip got me laughing so hard I almost fell off the chair! You really have a great sense of humor! 🤣

I would feel a bit nervous having just a curtain to secure my capsule room. I'm not sure if it would offer much protection against sea monsters or ghosts. That said, it did look like a very clean and well-maintained ferry.

Even when the lights are on, the hallways are creepy because it looks a lot like hospitals in horror movies

I almost choked on my Cracker... i was expecting curry and rice.. I want ABS to !! Always enjoy your travels, food selections, and witty comments.

This could be the setting for a game in the style of _Return of the Obra Dinn._ Solo wakes up in a creepy hospital cubicle on a deserted ferry with no memory of how he got there, and has to figure out what happened to everybody and how to get the ship to Akita by himself. It could have survival mechanics. Each chicken breast chip restores 5 HP.

What a relaxing video! Truly superb. It always strikes me how complete the meals are in Japan from what I’ve seen on this channel. When you order a meal, it’s a full meal, not a 10$ sandwich with nothing else. These meals are always colourful and full of variety! And so affordable And the snacks are adorable. Those might be for kids but I will cheerfully squish the little toe beans of that candy before eating it

I had to smile at the chicken breast snack, were there six in the pack? (as in a six pack) They looked so dry, you needed that beer to rehydrate. An interesting cabin, you were right it did look like a doctors examination room! Although it was clean, the ferry itself looked good and what a beautiful/peaceful sunrise you were greeted with. Thank you.

I was chuckling as quietly as I could when you stated that it looked like a medical examination room - so accurate. I am pleased that it was reasonably comfortable though, and seemed very roomy for a capsule. Happy travelling!

They turn the lights off in the corridor, so you have to guess which cabin is yours, and they're only closed off by a curtain, not a door you can lock? Sounds like a great way to meet new people (if there ever were any other people on these ferries, which there never seem to be 😶)

The Entrance Hall looks so festive. I like it! That room DOES look like an exam room. Not too sure I'd be comfortable in there! Hope the day continued to be as nice as it started out! Such a pretty sunrise!

I love the design of this ferry ! 🛳💙 The outside view of Shin Nihonkai looks modern with a beautiful logo.⛴ 🙌🏻 The interior also looks modern, and I'm mostly amazed by the entrance hall that seems to take us to a space world with the complex blue geometric shapes and the moving blue light. 😀🛸 On the other hand, I admit that some corridors make me think of a hospital, and the presentation of the capsule bedrooms really enhance this feeling. 🏥 Anyway, your bedroom looks globally comfortable. 😄🛏 The variety of services offered by this ferry is very well and you get everything you need for this not very long trip. 🙂👍🏻The funny bought snacks as well as the wonderful sunrise view make you rapidly forget the little creepy ambience around the bedroom. ☺🍬🌅 Eventually, thank you very much for having let us discover the discrete, but cosy Northwest region of Japan. 🙏🏻

I was curious after reading 'creepy' in the title and you are right, a bit creepy. The capsules actually resemble those cubicles of a quarantine centre in China but with a little more privacy and a personal TV. Your joke about the chicken chips made me laughed, I wish you hugh success building your abs, LOL.

I read a poem by Walt Whitman associating lilacs with death. He wrote it in 1865,after the death of Abraham Lincoln. Does seem a little spooky there on the ship!💕🍱⛴️

Great trip. Especially this trip only short hop between two cities in same island or coast to coast. That chicken breast snack is funny. When I see dark hall/corridor, I was thinking about something jumpscare/running to the camera.

I loved onigiri when I lived in Sakai shi 1995 to 1997. I would buy one every night, and breakfast time from Lawson, along with spicey chicken. Oishii.

As usual I prepared myself to watch video by eating curry wurst and french fries and then you tell no food served on that ferry! Fortunately you had very satisfied breakfast at the terminal. Huh. Do you know that real dog paws smell like popcorn, but I have never tasted my doggie’s paws. 😎 Thanks for the video!

Konichiwa Solo San. When I looked at the prelude to this video, I was sure you were going to tell me the ship was HAUNTED, When you said it was CREEPY, I though there would be ghosts abot. DAMN!!! I was disappointed. This was on short trip. I would have liked to have seen what breakfast was like on "LILAC" Have a safe trip. Sayonara!
