The EW 141 is a semi auto AT rifle that is unique to the Panzer Ic, since it couldn't carry an autocannon. It can fire fast but it is just an anti tank rifle

to be fair since it only uses Panzer 4s for the most part it pretty much tells you to take 4 cards of panzer 4 and one card of tigers so you will still probably have 20+ tanks in that tab. but yeah for an 'armored' division an awful lot of the armor is located in the recon tab in the form of half tracks and armored cars.

PPSH has had the weird .3 damage per gun for a while at least, if not since launch. Just like the Thompson/Greasegun are at .5 per gun. Probably to represent the lower caliber/offset the bonkers ROF

Yes, the biggest variables have always been the rate of fire and accuracy. Despite having the lower rates of fire in the game, the MP40 and Sten have the worst accuracy. I guess its barrel length because they also have the shortest barrels of that category.

@@diggman88and range. 7.62x25 has better ballistics than 9x18 so it really makes no sense why the Russian SMG has 100m range when some 9mm ones have 150

@@EstellammaSS That's down to velocity and realistically any of these SMGs could hit targets at 150 m. Accuracy would be the tipping point which .45 APC would come out the worst but it does more damage.

@@EstellammaSS ballistics of round itself is one thing but it can't change the fact PPSh simply isn't an accurate weapon. Advantage is just that it has flat trajectory so you don't have to readjust sights on 75-100, but that's it. It's not accurate over 100 meters like for example Beretta M38, which was from the start created as more of a carbine than pure SMG. Plus you must remember that Beretta M38 has dedicated round which is basically +P+ variant of 9x19, so it outmatches 7.62TT even in this regard. I don't know if Suomi had same stuff, but it's 150m range in game comes from fact IRL it was accurized weapon as Finns attempted (rather stupidly, and failed) to have it as stand-in for LMG, providing suppressive fire on longer ranges

This play like a mechanized div. Your comparison with 20pz is accurate in that regard. Different div but same role (above average inf, medium armor + limited heavy tank, lots of light armor/recon, grille). A solid div, very playable without being powercreep

Those panzergrens with G43s are a nice upgrade, yet aren't crazy overpowered. Plus, with semi-autos, they'll at least do better than cheap non-short range infantry at close quarters. Overall the 9th Panzer looks like an "armoured" division to me, basically a tankier mechanized division with Panzer IVs instead of Stugs.

The pz1c should be an amazing anti-halftrack, having 25mm pen. Irl its speed was ~80km/h on a road, so i hope it gets buffed

Marder III f-22 is now a thing because I think basic marder III were changed to carry a pak-40. Which they have on the model.

You're wrong, this was the first version of Marder which had captured russian F-22 gun mounted. Later versions of Marder 3 had mounted PaK 40.

honestly that marder 3 with the f-22 gun is just a solid upgrade to the SU-76 because it has a machinegun and better AP shells but it lacks the HE. same price as the SU-76 though.

Against this division you just have to bring sooo much AT. Is that the norm with Tank Divisions? I feel that having an abundance of armored recon, a rather numerous - albeit mediocre - tank tab and many tracked AT-guns is more than the usual. Plus tracked AA and Arty if you want it. Or what do you think?

Still asking myself why pgren panzerfaust doesn t have g43 as well. Would have made the div even cooler for a really strong medium range map division

Those pioneers are insane for 15 points… I mean you get disheartened inf with only rifles for the same price and a unit with 3 smg’s a machine gun and a grenade?!

You also missed that F-22 gun has 1500 meter range instead of 1750 of PaK40. So there indeed is no reason for extra price this vehicle is straight up worse than the other Marder III and PaK40
