RU-vid is getting crap - use any Brave, Opera, etc and it buffers all the time. Now to leave a message you have to confirm your log in each time and they charge you for it - standard rate.
I think there are more western divs than eastern divs at this point, yet all maps are set on the eastern front. How about some western maps? Maybe even port over the SD44 maps so we have more variety? Add all the divs you want but the maps are getting old really fast
This one looks like fun. I will admit though I don't really play SD2 anymore. I think I'm more or less played out of it at this point. Hopefully SD3 is being worked on or something new entirely.
Would be cool if they added in an Aussie infantry division that had unique “actual” crusader tanks not aa and the infantry could have fanatical + other traits as they were the most feared in Africa or something else instead of another U.S. armoured, and don’t really care about historical accuracy when they have all these other divisions on eastern front maps
I really like these two divisions. Let's see what the other two Nemesis-Packs bring, but a strong start indeed. I really miss your more regular content, Atkpwr. I watched it almost every day. But if the old upload circle was too much for you it's more important that you re-assess your workload and be as happy as possible. Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your content.
Yeah by this point if a divison doesn't have loads of medium tanks with magical binoculars on them and 3+ cards of 10-men Bazooka squads in there it's called "average"...
Interesting they say the 1st Armoured has M4(75) in the support tab. I wonder if this is a typo of M4(105), which is the 2k HE one, as they seem to already have the regular Shermans in the tank tab.😊 I'm guessing that where they describe a tab as being "light" when it's full of great units they mean it has few and/or expensive slots. So the 1st Armoured probably has to pick and choose which of that recon or AT it wants to use, and isn't able to use all of those great issues. Also interesting that they say the S18/1000 will be similar to the Erdkampflafette. The latter was just a ground mounted 20mm autocannon, so kinda makes sense in it's role (though not how it has a greater range than vehicle mounted 20mm). But the S18/1000 was a semi-automatic 20mm AT rifle like many other AT rifles, with only a 10 round magazine, nothing at all like an autocannon. You even had to modify the gun to switch between HE and AP ammo. It feels like they're really reaching on this one.
I think they mean S18/1100 version which was fully automatic variant and was mounted on AA tripod similar to Oerlikon 20mm. It uses same ammo as Flak and was adjusted to serve role of AA gun so I think it was adjusted to use both types of shells
M4A3(76)W is the best Sherman variant in game so it's actually a pretty big deal. They have 110mm of armor with 76mm HV gun and improved mobility like all A3 versions, so better than older Shermans in every way, and also probably the best medium in game (maybe tied with T-34-85 due to it's 2000m range). So far this unit was only in limited numbers in 2e Blindee division, this here is first time we will have these in US division
@@colonelkoenig42birhakeim42 damn you're right. It's the M4(105) which had 110mm armor, with early 60° hull armor, I mixed them up. Still, 100mm of A3 is an upgrade over 90mm of A1, gives that extra edge in survivability against Panzer IVs on max range and is mostly resistant against Pak38s
@@markcollins6578 nope, both A1 and A3 76 have 2 .30cals and one .50cal on top Although the command variant of M4A1(76)W does lose one .30cal, I don't know why, maybe to make space for stronger radio? But command variants of standard Shermans have all MGs, so I don't know
Solid choice to vote on although I'm not too exited for another American armored div, seeing how good 4th turned out be. 71st seems pretty nice to me. The GBR39 at rifle is the one sicherungs have, so the inf tab seems very capable of dealing with light armor.
At the opposite I want another American armored div. The combo of italian and Us seems so powerful Definitely A tier at least, im not taking too big risks in saying that 😅
It's the classic SDII contrast! **Allied Div:** Here is what they were issued. It's what they're using. **Axis Div:** They're weren't issued enough, so they're also using equipment that they begged, borrowed and stole; as well as some tanks that they found on the side of the road, and some mortars that Hans' uncle Freidrich put together in his shed from some rusty pipe and some torn down fencing. 9:00 - Come'on now. Any unit that comes in a Half-Track is a double LMG unit! And now the video is over: A reminder that I am not to be taken seriously. I'm snarking and teasing with the hope and aim for it to be all in good fun.
I remember just picking up the game and loosing all of my tigers to t-34/85s i put the tigers in the worst positions and at close range so they got massacred by hordes of t-34s
I don't want to be severe towards GhostDragon (a great player) but it hurts me to see a DFL deck like that. Even if I understand some decisions to play against 3FSJ, I see other things that make me sad. Where are the 50 cal HT to abuse 3fsj that doesn't have enough tools to answer to them ? Same for the m8 scott, the second card of stuart recon or the m20 which come with fus-marins recon. Same for stuart in Tank tab. The Inf tab looks well for A phase except the tirailleurs leader that is a non sense to take when we compare to legion leader that are two vet (increased AoE) and 7 men, again more with the recent sniper nerf). Phase B : Why take tirailleurs ? It is just a waste, even if it is for meatshield, 20 pts for them is too expensive. Even if the zook of bimp aren't needed in B, they have two brens and they are 12 men, Bimp are a better choice. Maquisards I understand the choice, but one vet is needed now that you can put on them. The choice of 60 mm mortar is a bit weird for me, because it is for winning forest fights and you are the king of forest with DFL. And also you have already 81 mm mortars for killing AA. But we can't forget the bigger mistakes of Schwere (don't want to be severe either towards Schwere), 13 infantry for A phase in a maverick deck, even in counting the Abwehr, we are at 17 !!! In those 13 or 17, four are overpriced (fs-jager ZF) and will be easy targets for planes. No mg42 in support tab. No pz schrek in At tab ! No vet on flak 36 that are not really good with one vet either. 6 flak 88 mm that can be destroyed easily by mortars radios of DFL. And maybe the biggest mistake , where is the offmap ? we are on Haroshaje 🧐 one of the only map where an offmap can be worthy. Nevertheless it was a good game, fun to watch. Ghost Dragon played well.
The main difference of the M4A3 to Shermans before it was the engine, a Ford V-8 gasoline engine, so it was the most speedy and mobile version of the Sherman - not sure if thats somehow translated into the game itself ?
i just want endless army general campaigns like in total war where the game ends after some time but you can still decide if you want to continue or end the campaign, i mostly quit when there are only 2 or 3 turns left.
The “W” in M4(75)W stands for “wet ammo storage” which reduces ammo cook off IRL, but it doesn’t affect armor and the better armor value is probably because of the welded hull. Someone needs to check the crit rate on it to know if it does anything in game tho.

Reduction of chance of catastrofic ammo cook off was reduced from 60-70% to less than 10%, so the importance of wet stowage was significant.
