In this video, I will talk about my 14 foot LIVEwatersports L4expedition paddleboard. I have had this board for over 6 years and I absolutely love it! Any specifics about the board (weight, dimensions, price) have come from their website.
Overall, I am a huge fan as this board allows me to do so many amazing things. But this board does come at a hefty price.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this board or other boards. I am happy to share my thoughts!

Really great video! I just got myself and L4 as well and had my wife on it and it is everything you say - surprising dry and super stable. Feels more like standing on a skiff than a paddleboard. I had it out on its maiden voyage in big hickory this weekend. Can't wait to see more of your adventures.

Thank you so much! I LOVE this paddleboard. It is great for so many fishing opportunities and also great for the family to enjoy as well! You’ll really enjoy it!

How are you guys transporting this? Is it feasible to load it on a rack over a ford expedition?

Certainly. I transport it like anything else on a roof rack. The L2 is 54lbs and the L4 is 65lbs so it may be a little awkward for some people to load and unload by themselves, but I manage just fine.

@@hkilic03 I load it on the roof rack of my Subaru Outback. I just put padding on the cross bars and secure it with cam straps. The board is heavy though and it is easy with another person helping, tough by myself.

@@RamseyFisherwould love to see a video on how you transport it. Load, tie down, unload, store, etc.

how durable is the bottom of these for like going down rivers and possibly hitting rocks? Is it easy to repair or would you not use it going down a river?

For what they are, they are pretty durable. I would love to river travel with it, but I would be hesitant to take it down a river with shallow/rocky bottom.

Additional question, do you know if, once you add a 6hp motor, if you have to register it with DNR? Its not a boat, so its not clear to me.

I do not know exactly on the registering. I do think I have seen some of these boards that have registration numbers on them when they had a gas motor. I would love to have just an electric motor on the front.

I think that will be state dependent but in FL anytime you add a motor (electric, trolling, gas) it does need to be registered. If you just used it as a paddleboard, you would not need to register it but as soon as you put the motor on it you do. Again, that's Florida though and it depends on your state.

I think it doesn't matter, if you put any motor on it you have to register it.
