Best purchases I made this year were a skillet with lid, a sauce pan, a cheap phone to read up on soaking, simmering, browning and freezing food... cost me + [income] thousand bucks so far... also sold computer displays, used kitchen ware and appliances, and even excess clothes. Another couple thousand to my savings acc.
Is there really going to be that many rides with seven people and lots of luggage to justify buying an expensive vehicle that could be just one passenger 99% of the time?
