I'm in Germany at the moment doing a tour of some of the model shops. Now you have shown me this shop ill be able to visit there aswell. Its not that far from home so fun is in store for me.

That's my local model shop these days since the Farnworth Model Shop closed a good few years ago now. It's a long trek from where I live, but it's only a few miles from where I work so I sometimes pop in on a Saturday morning and get 30 minutes' browse time before I have to head for work. I have never yet left the shop empty handed!

My local shop (Modellers Mecca) is about 10 miles away a superb shop but nothing compared to this,there's not many that do continental and LGB with british outline all under one roof I take it he's on the internet must be with all that stock. Cheers Kev

Jim, if you haven't been already you visit Miniature Wunderland in Hamburg Germany. It's the largest model railway in the world and of course its all continental. There is also an amazing fully functioning airport.

Oh god Jim, how do you ever walk out that shop, we have nothing anywhere near approaching that near where I live. I could spend hours in a shop like that and would be flat broke by the time I came out!! A great video and thanks for doing it mate, much appreciated................Graham

very nice review mate...i checked out the site for this place..seems like no paypal or shopping cart yet but as u have mentioned they are working on the online shop right now...as oscar Wilde once wrote "the only way go get rid of a temptation is to yield to it"!....he also wrote something along the lines of the one charm or marriage is that it makes a life of deception totally necessary so you are not alone in these things! the box ending was a clever introduction to your next review...i,m tipping its the replacement for the dodgy Krokodil loco you last reviewed , but i could be wrong..............marty
