The one thing that always sticks in my mind is when we came here in the late 70’s early 80’s. I always felt safe. People were so friendly. Happy Holidays.
Never realised you lived on the coast Clive. Looks a nice clean place. Although I've been to Norfolk lots of time, very rarely been to the coast there. 20 or so years ago, seemed to be going most weekends, either dog shows, or boating, later racing of course. My one short break was in 99 or 2000, long weekend in October at Eccles.
MalcOfLincoln Yeah I live about 100 yards from the beach. When I moved house about 10 years ago I just moved into a nicer house in the same road, which I think says something about how much I like the area. It has been a great place to bring up my daughter. Well, suits us anyway.
It looks lovely, I particulalry like the beach and theatre . But also recall the ocean rooms were very nice, and looked bigger and better inside. I thought the church ruins at Hopton looked like a miniature version of Bury St Edmunds abbey gardens ruins! At least the air is clearer there on the beach..we are surrounded by BB-Q smoke from every direction today, think I need a mask just for that!
