I'll second this. His TV/movie commentary is great, ofc, but there are very few people doing books or things like his D&D or MtG specials. Top tier stuff and watch them many times over.
I'm guessing he was hoping she would be dead by then. Even if she isn't killed by violence she could very well just die because she doesn't realize she actually needs food and water. Although the undead presumably don't get weak from not eating so that would be an observable difference. Or they just ignore her pleas to leave the city. Or it could just be a case of fait accompli in regards to the throne even if she is able to escape the city.
