The new set is amazing. It has incredible design and is super fun to play. Quite likely this ends up the most fun set made so far.

2:34 Each Winds of Exchange deck will have one of their three houses assigned as a Token Creature house. Each of the seven houses in WOE have four possible Token Creatures to be assigned during deck generation. All 28 possible Token Creatures have unique artwork.

Recently got the new set, it is very fun. The new house Ekwidon is a great edition, they let both players do more :)

Card quality was the first thing I noticed when opening my Winds of Exchange packs. Disappointed, but still looking forward to playing with the new set.

I have not gotten into buying any decks before. But this one looks quite cool, and depending on how many other people are interested and on avaliability, I might give it a try. Hopefully transparent sleves work with this nicely

I have played a ton of Winds of Exchange, 25+ games. It is a ton of fun. I love the token gimmick.

With the tokens, I think it could be interesting if some factions allowed you do draw a card and turn one of the cards in hand into a token. Or to look at the tokens and somehow interact with the face of the token (take it back to hand for example - destroying the token, but gaining a card). Turning a card into a token is a better exhaust.

11:00 Creating tokens doesn’t affect faction distribution. It’s just as random as card draw, so you’ll see a different breakdown each game, the same as always.

true, but in a sense it is like archiving cards - only you also get a creature on the board as a bonus. So, you could, let's say, play most cards of a faction, then generate a bunch of tokens, effectively removing a bunch of other faction cards from your deck, and from then on, you would have a much faster loop. I don't think it is unbalanced as a whole, but it will make thinning your deck easier and hence lead to blowouts

Yes, there are times when my deck makes so many tokens that I just play one or two houses in a game.

It is not messing with the 'math of the game' since it's equally probable which card gets used as a token, just as it's equally probable which card gets drawn.

As of June 12th, 2023. I can't buy Winds of exchange ANYWHERE! it's sold out everywhere and there's no word on when or if there will be more from this set.
