It's the kind of thing (the gravity half pass, that is) that like Ricky Smith's DPS, makes you want to never put the deck down until you achieve a tenth of their brilliance, or put the cards down, walk away forever and cry yourself to sleep at night. That all said, Sir, your pass is pretty damned sweet too!

Thanks for the strong feedback & yes many magicians are apt to put this move in the spotlight (when they execute the cover actions), I always try to keep it in the shade

Pandrea advocates zero action after the pass happens. There is no reason to shuffle or anything. If done right they should be convinced that the card is where it was left... the middle.

I’d guesstimate the dribble pass to be a better option because you can open the hands (to receive the passing cards etc)

Pass isn’t always necessary- sometimes a simple card control can get the same thing done especially if you don’t have bigger hands. But, if you really want to get the pass down, one big tip for angles would be to move your hand back towards yourself as you’re doing the classic pass and pulling down so the original bottom half of the deck covers a lot of the part you’re shifting. Hopefully that makes sense- Alex Pandrea and Xavier Spade, as Doug mentioned too, have great work on RU-vid about the pass as well.

Spade has great advice on the pass, its worth the info if your willing to drop the cash

Remember: the only people judging you should be your audience (not other magi) you don’t have to do a good pass (but if ya wanna... just keep working on it!)
