Watch the interview with Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, Vivien Lyra Blair, Hayden Christensen, and Indira Varma for A Look Back at Obi-Wan Kenobi at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023.
I'm just blown away by Vivian's confidence and how grown up she is for her age. I can just see Carrie Fisher smiling down at her and glowing with happiness for this little actress with a Great Big Star Quality.
@@MichaelM28 and yet you understand how loved he is by the community right? We all know his acting wasnt at all "amazing". But that doesn't rlly matter when u have the respect of pretty much all of the community
Hayden is in Ahsoka, as Vader, force ghost, and Anakin in the WBTW, in a what if very special scene with a young Ahsoka on a very specific very hot planet…
Now that I reviewed the goodbye scene between Obi-Wan and Leia, it kind of reminds me of little Anakin saying goodbye to his mom, they both ask "will I ever see you again" and it's just heart melting
Absolutely love hearing Vivien talk. No wonder she got the part. Such a intelligent, gifted and beautiful child. A perfect young Leia. And anytime we can see Hayden and Ewan is a treat in these roles. I thought that Obi-Wan season served perfectly as a one-and-done thing.
I don't think you're gonna find a better child to play young Princess Leia than Vivien Lyra Blair. I just only wish Carrie Fisher could've been alive to see it.
This will always be in my memory. The show wasn’t as good as it could’ve been. But seeing Hayden and Ewan on screen with each other again was amazing. Both of them did a great job portraying Vader and Obi-Wan.
I felt like it had enough passion and heart that it made me appreciate this show even though its many flaws. As long as you can make me feel something and make me care about the characters I'm on board, sadly I did not quite get the same with the latest season of the Mandalorian.
I love this show and was so happy to be present for this panel. Highlight of my Celebration, for sure. A S2 announcement is the only thing that could have made it even better, so I'm glad they haven't completely ruled it out
Did the Obi Wan Kenobi Series live up to its potential. No it didn’t unfortunately. Do I still recommend watching it? Yes absolutely! Despite its flaws, it was still an entertaining series. Having two of the biggest characters in the franchise come back together was truly something special.
Vivien is just so amazingly awesome! The perfect juxtaposition of maturity and childlike innocence. She’s really adorable. I hope she has a long, successful acting career ahead of her.
It wasn’t perfect by any means… but man did it have its MOMENTS! And when they hit THEY HIT HARD! Can’t completely write it off for its faults still gotta appreciate the beauty within!
This is, without question, the best SW panel I’ve ever seen. What an utterly charming bunch of people. Really hope there’s more Obi-Wan to come in the future.
I had some major issues with this series as a long time fan but I could tell the whole time that everyone put their heart in it. They did really try. Simply because I love these characters I would watch a season 2 no doubt. This time with Obi staying on the sandy Tat and learning stuff from his old master while protecting Luke.
Its too bad that wasn’t what the first season was. Hopefully season 2 has a completely different crew. The cast is fine outside of Reva which is more a problem with the character itself.
There were definitely some silly Disney moments in the show, but overall, I really enjoyed this show and am so glad that Hayden is finally getting the recognition he deserves.
The finale was awesome, but the rest of the show was just ok at best. There definitely needed to be more inquisitor action and more for them to do overall. That was a really lovely panel though. 😊
I would love that Hayden say more about himself and what did he felt doing such scenes , understanding what was going on with anakin and obi wan , if he was emotional or not MORE about his thoughts 😭😭😭😭😭
When I met Vivian two months ago at Fan Expo, despite being younger than me, she was REALLY good at talking to people and I almost struggled to keep the conversation going with her. I told her Carrie Fisher would be absolutely proud of her performance as young Leia. What a moment.
The whole cast is amazing, but I gotta say... Vivien is not only a wonderful young actress and a very well-spoken young lady, but I feel like Carrie would've LOVED her.
Also, seeing Vivien sitting next to Hayden is like "this is what it would look like if Anakin hadn't gone to the dark side and got to raise the kids as Anakin" 😭
Vivien is amazing. I dont really like Obi wan series, its not totally bad show, but its not also good. But cast is really strong aspect of it. Vivien for me is amazing as young leia. If we gave her more intresting story, and dialogs he could own the screen.
I think the show was fantastic. Though it takes a lot for me to think a movie/series is genuinely bad. Yes I agree that star wars has had it's ups and downs, but what are people most dissapointed with in the obi wan series?
I like how Obiwan didnt want Anakin in The Phantom Menace and was forced to train him since he promised Qui Gon as his last wish and then in this series he is reminded of child Anakin in Leia and has to learn how to be the father figure he should have been for Anakin
