Loved this video. PSVR2 2 will be my first time jumping into VR and as a fan of mmos this game got me excited. Now after watching your content I'm even more ready!

@@sonoVR I haven't played in ages, so maybe it has been addressed, but any plans to remedy the awful dungeon system in the game? That's entirely why I stopped playing. Was STOKED for the new dungeons when they came out. Two days after the patch I played my first dungeon and all anyone did was just charge to the end to the boss. All I did was died and had to ask for a rez while the entire party just sprinted to the end. Thought this was a fluke, but game after game that's all anyone did. Just run to the end... No crowd control, no pacing, no coordinated pulls, no anything that I would have expected from a dungeon in an MMO. This ain't it..
I hope they speed up improving the game with the new staff they’ve hired. I will come back in a year and hopefully it’s much. More fleshed out and complete. There is so much potential here.
Ive seen reviews from march and april 2023 saying there is nothing to do and the game is boring, but seeing this eeally sold me on the game. Just by the time you mentioned the climbing to the new dungeons i was sold, but you kept mentioning new mechanics that i like the sound of. And also the big 1.3 thing comming soon
Did you ever try the dungeons? They're entirely why I quit playing this game. Everyone just sprints to the end and doesn't kill anything. If you're lucky you don't end up getting destroyed by the mobs while just running for your life. It isn't dungeon crawling. I'm not even sure what it is but it isn't fun.
I bought Zenith when it came out but was very underwhelmed with how it immediately became a "kill x monsters" quest grind. Sounds like it may be time to jump back on one time. It's still extremely disappointing there's only two main classes though.
I was on zenith the minute it launched. I heard the discord ping and rushed to buy it, I played it for a solid week or two, until the game got really really annoying with all of the grinding. I’m going to reinstall it and try it out again, the future of this game is looking bright!
@@Pam234 it’s definitely a lot better, and still has that same vibe for playing it the first time. I’d recommend it for sure if you wanna be dedicated to a game like this
I was there for launch, i could see potential but it was rough, it was like a watered down version of PSO but with kick ass climbing and flying mechanics or something. But it looks like the devs mean business, and things should improve if they do.
Overtime they've added a lot to help with that. The first 10 levels come faster, there are more side quests so you don't have to grind events, and there more general things to do in-game like creature catching, cooking, and grinding a pet and their stats
I think this is my favorite VR game. The PC game looks much better than the Quest version (especially the Quest 1) but all versions are so much fun and it even works with the bhaptics vest. I don't even really understand half of what's going on in the game but it's still immersive, especially the flying (the bhaptics vest vibrates to simulate wind which is cool).
For me the gliding put Zenith over the top, walking around and exploring is one thing but being able to fly in first person view weaving in and around structures is unreal and super fun
I think the cyber ninja will 100% be the most popular class (unless it's not powerful). The extra movement should reminisce super gliding and get some people interested who loved super gliding
I bought a Meta Quest 2 that will be delivered next week. Do you guys think the game is worth buying in March 2023? I loved MMOs back in the day so this seems appealing..
I do think its worth the price, it gives tons of main story content which will take plenty of tens of hours to complete and even dungeons/raids after completing the story to grind for the game's best loot. Then theirs also the relaxing elements like cooking and creature catching that there are progression levels for. When comparing it to release, it's a way better package now to buy and I'd say its worth it.
This was really well made, most youtube videos cant capture my attention longer than 3 to 5 minutes but due to this format/discussion i really enjoyed it. Do you believe Zenith is worth getting back into? played it back at launch then stopped due to personal issues. But lemme know:D
I do think it has only gotten better, they've been focusing on new things and areas other than the standard questline so even after getting level 40, or before, the new things like life skills, housing, pets, the Skylands, can all be enjoyed without having to grind the whole game first and it makes it much more worth to get back into, with all the new options you can take in the game now.
Will this support crossplay? I want to try it with my brother, hes on quest 2 and im gonna play on ps5, can we do that?(i know that psvr2 isnt out yet, but maybe someone knows?)
I'm going to revisit this game. At launch I put in 40 hours and play up until the game was just so unfinished it wasn't interesting anymore. NPCs had no dialogue and just a chat box and they were just a T-Posing enemy 😂. This makes me glad that they've stuck with the game because I saw the potential it had and watching this totally makes me want to play from the start and re experience the game in a mire polished state.
I finally was able to pull together the cash to get a used Quest 2 and currently waiting for it to ship. I intend to make this the first game that I install!
i was part of the players that played soon after the release date, i stopped playing after reaching level 29 on my mage, and now im coming back and im so confused lol
Let's get to what is the operative word in broken content. It just means more broken. They haven't fixed anything in over a year. The creature catching is broken,the raids are broken, the story is non existent, the godstone perks are broken. Yes they've given us more stuff but it's all broken. I want my money back, they can take my stupid game and sell it to someone else because it was broken, it is broken and is likely only to get more broken. I want my money back.
I played a bit when it first came out. I fell off pretty quickly, but I just reinstalled it to see what's new. I looked at the steam player base and it's under 100 players daily. I know that it has cross play with the quest 2, but are there still a lot of people on there?
There are usually 1-2 near full servers. I believe most players play on Quest 2 since it's the most accessible headset, so just the steam count shouldn't be everyone.
@@LuKiZenith For sure. It's nice to know the quest player base is keeping the game alive because I've been getting bored with the few VR games I actually come back to and was hoping to get back into this.
@@ZWillis12 was watching wan show and i think linus meantioned the quest store does like 95% of the sales for games available on both pcvr and quest. facebook single handedly propping up the vr dev community. this is great for adoption, but horrible for advancement and innovation. developers HAVE to develoop and prioritize the quest variant. thats why games have been stagnant for the past 5 years
Dude, I have been trying to save up for a VR for so long, but I’m afraid of getting a quest as all my friends say that PCVR is better, and I don’t have a PC either so I would need to get both, and that large sum of money causes problems for me getting into VR, and I gave up on it, until I learned about this game, it has reignited my want for a VR, and I might as well just get a Quest at this point.
I would say getting a Quest is definitely worth it. I have both a Quest 2 and a VR compatible PC and I find myself playing on my Quest standalone way more often. PCVR is clunky and hard to get into tbh. But I would wait to see if a Quest 3 is announced later this year as I have heard it's coming soon.
All games explode in playerbase at their released and have to build and solidify their play base as time goes on, compared to the month after release where all the initial hype wore off, we are way higher than we used to be, maybe not as high on release, and we might never get back to it, but we sure are growing from the initial divot
@@LuKiZenith as a day one player as well man the base is dead, Uza has crumbled down to 1 or 2 guilds besides ez and by guilds i mean maybe 15 to 30 active players ,most of the people in their videos have already stopped, quest 2(it's main group of vr players) is almost unplayable for zenith at this point people are crashing 2 to 5 times a day, the devs have made promises they haven't kept , the story is convoluted the dungeons are the best examples (there are 4 and only 1 has anything to do with the story) I've logged in and gone to most events in the lady year each event gets smaller and smaller and smaller every update works like this 1 to 2 weeks of excitement maybe a month then 2 to 3 months of the same group over and that group has slowly died let's be honest ....the numbers are dropping left and right not exploding take thus from a player who has literally made over 40 plus players TA ready as part of the community running 9 r1 raids a day for months now just to help
@@csreaper73 I will say the entire situation is complicated, especially with the fact that we can't see quest2's playerbase like we can with steam, as I believe quest 2 [being the most accessible headset] will bring the most players. We do all know 1-2 servers will have all of the players on, which lets us know that the playerbase is not big at most times. When the game launched we all saw every server almost full, and obviously now we don't. But that doesn't mean the interest is dying out. Zenith in my eyes is in a situation where most people are keeping tabs on the game as it updates, but everyone is just waiting for something that actually makes them want to play. My viewcounts have only gone up over time, even other creators have seen higher viewcounts with recent updates. There's a higher interest in the game, but I can agree with you that a lot of those interested players can't/do not want to commit to buying the game or replaying it if they already quit. In my eyes, time is key, even if we already have used an entire year, this game has not reached the potential it told us it would have, that may disappoint some, but for many who haven't even heard of the game yet, it will excite them when that day comes.
bought this game on release day and it was possibly one of the worst, most underwhelming thing possible. I might give it another go in the future but I;m not sure
What’s a good way to get in a guild? Or how haha I haven’t played since launch. Got my tank war to lvl 12. Was very Grindy solo. Not a lot of people wanted to team up. How’s tank warrior endgame?
Zenith was always on my radar, but i could never jump the fence cuz of the combat. Blade & Sorcery ruined me lmao. Nothing beats physics based sword fighting for me, everything else feels like a lackluster imitation. Sairento VR is my only exception so far just because of all the other elements it adds to make the combat unique and engaging.
You can! Even I do, standing for hours is tiring and most headsets let you reset your view so your sitting position IRL can be your standing height in game, and the game lets you move where your weapons and quick item slots can be to tour liking as well!

Can't lie it really did change the amount of enjoyment I had more than I thought it would, such a unique mechanic, wish it was still here but just disabled in the areas it would break
That is most likely only taking in one section of the playerbase, the easiest to find is Steams' playerbase, which is much smaller than Quest 2's playerbase, there are usually more people playing.
In the next major update, they didn't give a date, but they announced it would come "soon after the psvr2 release (tomorrow)" so I would hope within March!
If any of you think that psvr 2 will save this game. It won’t. Enough people have seen the failure of this game and how the devs can’t keep promises. Also, content drops that added a lot? Scuse me? Lmao those content drops were and still are utter shit.
its only been a year but this truly gave me nostalgia of playing the beta and finally being able to play the game it truly has been a treat being able to be with this game since day 1.
I went on sometime last week around 6pm eastern time and saw a high traffic server and a couple medium traffic servers. It may be easier to join the discord to find people to play with or recruit from the comments section here lol
