I remember watching this when it originally aired, and enjoyed seeing Ivana cooking and talking about her children and her mother. Her 96 year old mother has outlived her only child, age 73. Today is Sunday 2:35 AM July 24, 2022. Ivana was buried this week. She fell down the stairs carrying a cup of coffee. Every Trump was at her invitation only funeral, including Donald, Melania, Barron, and also Tiffany and her fiancé. The grandchildren seemed to take it particularly hard. Never have I had the pleasure of meeting any Trump but I've always admired Ivana's beauty, grace, and her amazing way she publicly handled Donald's disgrace with Marla Maples. Melania is a strong and good wife and business woman.... But no doubt Donald's greatest regret was losing Ivana, the mother of his children, devoted wife, business partner and deeply embedded friend. He's lived with that regret always. Melania is a terrific mother, wife and was a lovely first lady. We'll not compare wives. Melania and Barron both looked truly grief stricken as they watched Ivana's gold casket being placed into the hearse. It was a show of a tight knit family, even Don Jr's ex-wife was there with their 5 children and their oldest daughter gave a eulogy. The Trump family respect for Ivana as mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend and the individual grief was palpable. Ivana and her dearest friend, Nikki Haskell, whom Ivana met the night Ivana and Donald met, was to leave with Ivana to go to St. Tropez the day after Ivana died. It was to be Ivana's first venture out of her home since the pandemic. Eric must have had a premonition because he called his mother the night before and spoke of his concern about her stairs and the pain she'd been having in her legs from the Olympic skiing in her youth, and the danger of falling. Ivana had an elevator but she refused to use it. One of the last things she told Eric was, "Darling, don't worry, I'm going to live to 120 years old. " Eric was the person who was called to Ivana's home after the maintenance man broke into her home after there was no answer when her housekeeper arrived. Her doors were double bolted from the inside. Paramedics had declared his mother dead and Eric had to go to the townhouse for the formalities. May Ivana's transition have been quick and painless. There was speculation that Ivana had a heart attack which caused her to fall.

I was upset about her passing, which was relatively young. RIP, Ivana.

Although 73 seems too young to die, she also lived so much more than most people, she maxed out her life for her 73 years. Goulash (Gulyás) is a very nice dish, although needs more than just onions and red paprika :-) Carrots and parsley root, cubed potatoes, caraway seeds for flavor. I was still impressed she was cooking Hungarian style :P Very classy and beautiful lady with the realness of Eastern Europeans.
