I always felt this world was heavily based on the area that I grew up in. I grew up in the Mojave Desert in a town called 29 Palms, which is about 45 minutes away from Palm Springs.

Well, except for all the water. Not so much of that in the desert. Oasis Springs also has elements of my hometown area. There is a giant dinosaur museum that's shaped like a dinosaur... every time I see the giant dinosaur in Oasis Springs, I think of the dinosaur museum from my hometown area.

I have turned my lucky palms into a more run down area with gas stations and grubby cafes reminiscent of R66 and Amboy. I’ve also made Roy’s cafe and motel.

I would love to play TS3 but unfortunately it's really laggy on my computer. Anyway it is a nice look back with you even though i would love to look back myself.

Ive always think of ts3 as a dark game. Especially compared to brightly lit Sims 4. And yes the Sims all look alike with their chubby faces.

Cat Henes you need to download some cc if you want more individual and unique sims.

Cat Henes yes this is very true! there's no getting away from the pudding face of TS3 or the hamster cheeks of TS2. but you have to admit the sims 3 (if not laggy) is more fun then TS4 even with seasons added.

I have a good computer, have hardly any custom content, Lucky Palms doesn't have any major performance issues from what I remember, and there's a few things you can do to improve game performance if you search it up
